I think what hold everyone back is the so-call Ultrapixel which the general (pixel #) is below industry par. OTher than that, the phone is one badass...

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Feb 26 2013, 10:51 AM) Actually to be honest, wireless charging maybe an essential feature in later year, but for now it is more like a gimmick rather than practical use. Wireless charging might be convenience at times, but to purchase an additional wireless charger at a premium price... it would not be realistic. Those who have chance to get some hands on on it, can test more on the camera performance in terms of in door, low light? If i'm going to upgrade my HOX to HO, the camera will be the only main consideration It seems that most of the comparison shots out there (ip5 vs HO mainly) shows that the blown up pics of HO to 8mp has blurry pics compare to the natural 8mp pics.. the camera might hold me back for the upgrade as well |

QUOTE(newly wed duck @ Mar 15 2013, 02:50 PM) like i said, nobody views their photos at 100% zoom, nor 200%. +1, having pictures update on these kind of platform.. the only matters that matters is the color saturation, details and etc... not the picture size.they just snap , upload to instagram or facebook. if you're gonna bring photography enthusiasts / professionals into the picture, they have their dslr for that job. zooming at 100% is only an excuse to say that 4mp is bad compared to 8mp. |

QUOTE(newly wed duck @ Mar 15 2013, 02:52 PM) Basically phone camera is for general consumer group that want to take pictures at convenience without the hassle of bringing high-end cameras.. thus the "general" utilization is uploading tot he social networking platform easily.. and on those kind of platform we don't zoom in, do we |

QUOTE(giovanni @ Mar 15 2013, 02:56 PM) So displaying those pics on big hi-res monitor or tv screen will show no difference at all to naked eyes? If so, then HTC did the right thing. So increasing the mp on cameraphone is basically useless? literally yes.. but still there will be critics around... from A fans boy or SG fans boy. it will be a never ending debate... on whether Ultrapixel or higher MPs |

QUOTE(newly wed duck @ Mar 15 2013, 03:08 PM) sticking to the majority will turn you into an "unsmart" consumer. Yes that's typical consumer.. that is why Apple still in the game as I've mentioned earlier...reminds me of a survey i attended few days back. 7 people (including me) are required to give their thoughts on samsung and apple. why choose apple over samsung vice versa. i own a htc, but i borrowed my friend's s3 just to get in (and for the pay rm 180) some of them were asked, why apple over samsung? guess what they answered. 1 : because.. err.. apple lor. famous mah 2 : because android lags lor 3 : err.. because apple phone design nice lor 4 : (the most retarded answer of all) my whole family use apple so surveyor asked, why android lag? can give input? and have you used any android phones before? answer : idk lorh.. android is laggy lorh.. i think android bad compare to ios... ya.. my mom galaxy y.. it lags lor.. my iphone 3gs also not that laggy... i.. were going to bash them real hard. but instead i kept my cool and just sneered |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Mar 15 2013, 06:16 PM) Can I have the HTC One's build quality and design and the SIV's microsd slot and features? but sadly, right now, I cant like wise, you can satisfy everyone... its like life.. you want something you gonna sacrifice another... make choices that is best make u happy Don't really understand why people would want to argue about S4 vs. H1 over and over... buy something that you like, not other people liking. period. |
