Haha... I don't mind other brand has many cores on it, as long as this HTC ONE fits me. Different people, different priority. I believe this phone will able to serve me at least more than 2 years with it's interesting Sense & functionality. Design wise, I would say it's perfect!

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 5 2013, 09:13 AM) it is nice Even though we all yet to hold HTC one on our hand, i think it won't be slippery, thx to its edge design which is more "sharp" than previous models. I'm using HTC Desire HD with alumnium unibody and it has a more curvy edge but it still can be hold very well.but i'd scare the grip is not really good, like nokia n8, very slippery... need a case or sorta of... summore no scrap hole for a strap , my nokia n8 i use the silicon strap to hang on hand hehe... ![]() something like that, no need scare scratch phone and increase grip power like normal compact camera we put the strap on wrist But however i'm sure to get a jacket for my HTC One soon! |

Sigh... I think they will lost alot due to the delay. Probably S4 availability will be earlier than ONE in Msia and alot of customers "atas pagar" will definitely jump to S4 instead. HTC has make a very risky move by put it on sales worldwide on the same time with S4 and seems like due to components shortage, HTC will suffer a big lost for now.
Unless, HTC make is early debut at least to all telcos for pre-order and of course with MORE DEMO units all over telcos (Not like Butterfly, u hardly to find even a demo unit everywhere). At least, these "atas pagar" people can play, see see and test test with its interesting UI and design & useful features compare with S4 and probably, they won't lose all of these customers-to-be. QUOTE(douglas_tong @ Mar 10 2013, 04:17 PM) why are we so concern of "atas pagar" people? LOLz... I'm saying HTC, not u or me either. I don't care about this group people but what i'm trying to said is HTC need more customers to keep it going and growing. CHeers... i only care about availability and quality and pricing of the phone. what others decide not my problem. i think both samsung and htc are good phone. but in terms of built, i think this time htc wins hands down. it's unlikely samsung will opt for aluminium based on their mass demand and will most slightly stick to it's "cheap" plastic feel. BTW, I heard the components shortage that HTC announce recently is just a part of marketing strategy, is this true? Hmmmm |

But i'm pretty sure S4 will be available here earlier than ONE based on the track record from Samsung compared with HTC.
Samsung has their korean management in Msia for decades while SIS and Bright Star are HTC Distributors... and maybe this is where HTC lack of in terms of stock distribution and marketing support, imho. |

QUOTE(MsiaqweR @ Mar 11 2013, 08:58 AM) I dont think so. Perhaps this year will be different? Bcoz until today we haven't heard any news or even rumour saying HTC ONE will be available here, while Samsung is making a big launch for S4 in another 3 days. Guess what, maybe both model will available at the same time! In 2012, HOX vs S3, HOX launch first In 2011, Sensation vs S2, Sensation launch first There will be no difference in 2013. In spite of the above, I dont think Samsung will choose Malaysia over Singapore to launch its first batch of S4. Most probably, S4 will only arrive during its 2nd batch. |

QUOTE(MsiaqweR @ Mar 12 2013, 04:24 PM) Good news for those in Singapore NOW!! 4.7inch looks so small on your hand... LOLReal demo units arrived!!! ![]() I just molested this phone for 20 mins, now feeling wanted to "rape" this phone... What an incredible phone that I have never ever seen on this planet. Not a single lag in this phone. Things i tried on this phone:- - Open camera only needs 0.000001 sec (estimate la...), but the main point is this is the fastest camera launch I have ever seen. - Blinkfeed is amazing, despite initially wanted to disable it.. after seeing this phone, I will certainly wanted to keep it permanently. - Played the Real Racing 3 on this phone with BOOMSOUND enabled, WTF... graphics smooth like hell on ultra settings. (Imagine this is only a demo unit and non-rooted phone and has been molested by few hundred ppl before I tested this phone) - Screen display is unbelievable bright, viewing angles are very good. What else I can say?... For some reason i don't know why, no matter how great HTC are, like this ONE for example, still many of smartphone users out there still doesn't really accept the brand... Sigh. This is sad news too.... maybe, it's TOO MANY of Sammy and Fruit users out there. With their word of mouth, enough to destroy HTC hardwork. But for people who still considering which phone is better, IMHO, this is the ONE. IT's worth to wait for... This is truly a BEAST produced by HTC...
