And nobody talks abt battery. 2300mAh? Mehh
*
Come on, 2300mAH is pretty impressive

1) S600 is 40% more battery effiecient than S4 Pro
2) This phone only 4.7" vs Note 2 of 5.5".... smaller screen comsume lesser power
3) Why Note 2 can have 3100mAH? Bcos it is a big size phone, so Samseng can slot it a bigger flatter battery into the phone without scarifying its thinness. If Note 2 is only 4.7" and can put in 3100mAH without reaching a thickness of 15mm, I tiok.

Understand?

Htc one vs nexus 4 in low light conditions.. Not that impressive i must sat
*
Perhaps you are the only one, I must say HTC One clearly win on these pics.
The low light pics are so crisp and provide quite details vs even my Note 2 and my bro S3.

You can always adjust the recent app button on the menu.

In One, just tap double times at the home button. DONE.

when do this phone coming huh ?

sg first ?
*
I believe 1st Global launch will be in SG first in March (as stipulated in the HTC official list).
Perhaps Malaysia will only arrive in the 2nd batch or 3 batch, around April or May.

not sure of other regions but if so late, surely will lose sales to the s4.
they shld fully utilize the feel-good momentum generated by this device.

*
I dont think so, if S4 announce in March, it will reach Malaysia only by May.
If you need this phone fast, you may buy from SG first as it is highly expected to be sold in Mar.

think further.... rolleyes.gif

once s4 announced, many will hold their purchase...
*
Ya, many will hold their purchase ONLY when S4 is better than One.

But for this time, looking at the One which has so much features + the most advance hardware currently offered, I doubt many ppl will still wanna wait for another 2 months for the S4.

If only available by end of April, I think a lot of people will choose to buy other brands . I for one might not wait that long. HTC, I don't know what you're thinking but delaying the launch in certain regions might just make you lose out in your sales since there are very prominent competitors out there such as Apple and Samsung.
*
I think HTC gave-up on Malaysia edy since supporters in Malaysia is not as much as other regions like SG since many Malaysians only use Apple or Samsung.

HTC might want to penetrate the more important regions first.

why is it called "Full Metal Aluminum unibody" when its side white area seem like plastic?
*
Are u sure its plastics?
As far as HTC products in its history, HTC has never used plastics in constructing its phones.

My major concern is battery life. Either than that, i'm pretty ok with everything.

sounds to me like zoe with drink up alot of battery
*
If butterfly with 2020mah can sustain 49hrs, I can't understand why htc one with 2300mAH + newer processor can't achieve 60hrs.

~~duhh~  Now SGS4 also will be using the same processor with One Snapdragon 600 with 1.9GHz  rclxub.gif
HTC One will have a real worthy challenger now...hmm.gif
*
Rumours will be rumours..
And even if it's true, I don't think the extra 0.2ghz will gain any advantage over htc one.

i can see htc one+ incoming.
htc got everything right, BUT, 4mp is simply too small. when zoomed in, the pixels look blotched and patchy..

they should've gone for moderate sized pixels, around 1.4~1.6 microns and opt for a 6mp shooter. that fixes all issues..

right now the only issue with the cam is sharpness..
*
I think 4MP is enough. It's save storage space.

Tell me why you want a DSLR 24MP pics? In the end, you are just going to upload to FB and use it to send whatapps only most of the time.
Even sending whatapps, the photos will be compressed into 2MP from your 13MP before sending out.
Tell me, are you going to zoom your friends photos in FB?

The most important is the quality of the pic taken.

You are not going to perform advertising, marketing, promotion artworks which requires 18MP to 24MP.

is One, not Zoe
HTC always announce & sell the phone 1st follow by Samsung LOL
0.2 ghz = 200 mhz
since got 4 core = 800 mhz, not big difference ?
*
For smartphone CPU, it's means total processing power is 1.9Ghz.

1.9Ghz shared by 4 cores

If each core running at 1.9Ghz, can really go fry hotdogs edy.

my point is, htc gave up on mp war. that is right, but the downsizing they took is too big, even at 0% zoom, i can see that the ip5 camera is sharper.

http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/htc-one-vs...ested-50010488/
*
From the examples you quoted, there isn't any samples that once you zoom the photo, it is not clear.
So, why make judgement so early?

And of course, the most important thing is I dont think HTC will release a camera that capture a pic that is totally a crap when zooming when they really depends on this phone to recover their company's fortunes that dipped terribly in 2012.

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Feb 23 2013, 10:06 PM)
not like computer got 4 cores then then 1.9 ghz * 4 ???
*
That's why I say Smartphone CPU is not the same as Laptop CPU.
Laptop have heatsinks, Smartphone got???

look at the outdoor picture
if u still cant see it, you're not experienced enough

LoL, i can see the pimple on the girl's face but not in the iphone5 picture.

For me, I value photo quality more than zooming details.
