Apparently they combine body with the radio or smtg like that so won't affect signal

Even S1 and S2 can video call, u think HTC One can onot.... pls use common sense.
*
Lol don't have to be so sweat.gif i think what he meant was whether it can do video calls over 3g natively without any apps. And from what I know so far only samsung phones has this feature since the first galaxy S. Other manufacturers mostly only through apps like skype, tango etc . Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong icon_rolleyes.gif

at least they have 4.1.2 update... Htc One X and Htc One X+ also dont have 4.1.2 yet, still on 4.1.1  sweat.gif
*
Actually don't see the big deal about the updates. I'm using my one x on 4.1.1 and it's smooth with great battery life. smile.gif before this my gnex with extended battery on 4.2 want to achieve 3 hours screen on time also very sweat.gif on the one x I'm gettingĀ average 3 to 4 hours screen on time. Sometimes the newer updates got lots of bugs. Especially 4.2.1 had terrible battery drain although this was fixed in 4.2.2. IMO don't really have to worry about Android version as long as the phone works fine smooth with no lags. Or its a big jump like jb to keylime pie. Jb to jb really not much difference.

That may be true. But that's not the point if trying to raise up he I'm just trying to say, Samsung still provides after sales service to phones that are no longer their flagship devices. But companies like HTC, cant even provide after sales service to their current flagship devices(talking about before htc one was launched)

So, all I hope is, for the better of us as consumers. HTC would step up not only when the device is launched but also after it is launched they continue to provide maintenance for it.
*
Well that's because the one x already using the latest version of sense which just so happens to be on 4.1.1 from what i see htc only updates when there's a newer version of sense and they update the android version along with the new sense version. The one x one s and butterfly have already been promised sense 5 so it should take these phones to whatever android version sense 5 is on and along with the features.

the battery life is disappointing

What makes you say that? Most reviews from users themselves on xda get around 6 hours sot or more

Benchmarks are just a number. Real life experience between s4 and Htc one I doubt there'd be any difference in fluidity. Both also using similar soc only the s4 is slightly over clocked. And sense 5 is definitely more eye appealing than touchwiz tongue.gif of course just a personal opinion

Lol this thread turning into drama tongue.gif I'm wondering why htc quit the tablet business though. Would be nice to see a tablet with boom sound + blink feed and aluminum body. Confirm seller if they price it right.

This One phone also still not in the market yet..delay and delay. Still want to do tablet also arr..!? rclxub.gif

True tongue.gif but could be their chance to earn $$ since losing to Samsung in hp business. The tablet side this year very quiet. Nothing impressive so far apart from the Sony tablet Z. Most probably nexus 7 2 will be the one to watch out for. Oh well OT already. All the reviews about this phone are great now just the availability doh.gif sigh

the taiwan forum indicate XZ has the better shooting when night mode...so my problem is: how about during concert those??? 1 or xz which better for concert mode??
*
I think it depends on situation. If you're sitting far from the stage and are gonna zoom the pics later on then the Z may have sharper images. If no zooming involved both should be on par at least. If based on lots of other reviews though the one should be better

How long have you been using it for? Really works? No scratches whatsoever on your butterfly screen? If really good then might wanna try on my one x biggrin.gif

HTC also implement battery stamina like SONY?

0% drop in 8 hrs with WIFI and PUSH NOTIFICATION ON? are you kidding?

stock rom?
*
I don't see big deal with standby performance. Even my one x standby 7 hours drop 1% only with 3g on for whatsapp etc. And the one x is using a Tegra 3 which is much more power hungry compared to XZ and butterfly. XZ and butterfly using same s4 pro anyways so what's so surprising. I don't know why XZ users rave about the standby time sweat.gif if the butterfly is rooted and flashed with proper kernel + uv I'm sure can get even better results.

That why. HTC one have better talktime, browsing and video play back,  and much much better standby time than iPhone 5, but gsmarena gave them lower battery score?
*
I think the way they test endurance is one day they do 1 hour browsing, 1 hour calls and 1 hour video. Then let the phone idle till the next 24 hours and repeat. So probably around 48 hour mark then the phone already dead but SIV last till 63 hours. Why it can last this long has to be the extra 300mAH and a better idle consumption. Sometimes the battery indicator also got problem one. You idle long time then see battery percentage still the same but when you use it drops very fast compared to fresh charge and no idle time + continuous usage.

I tot Sony Xperia Z will be better because of the bravia engine but HTC One is more clear and better contrast.  rclxms.gif

Htc screens have always been one of the best. Even last year one x also considered one of the best screens. Better than s3 definitely. This year XZ have the worst screen among flagships but according to gsmarena S4 already overcome the pentile matrix problem due to high resolution and pixel arrangement. But IMO this year screens all should be very good doesn't matter which phone you choose. Very minimal differences.

I mean compared with iPhone 5, not s4

Oh then I have no idea sweat.gif apple paid gsmarena? tongue.gif anyways this endurance rating seems not very accurate also. The battery life so far for htc one mixed reviews but mostly positive side. If can last a full day with 4 or more hours of screen on should be good enough. biggrin.gif
