From the reviews, it is safe to say that ONE performs really well in low light condition. how it performs under normal lighting condition (outdoor/day) is just so-so. However, in low light, this might be able to go head2head with the Lumia 920..I hope.

A good company/manufacturer would not let their customer suffer by rooting/unlock bootloader/trial & error different roms just to get their device working. Its a major failure and a turn off if every customer has to do that.

Yes, it is a LUXURY and CHOICE that an android user have over iOS but we should not be FORCED to do that or android would never be able to survive in the world of Apple. Like most have mentioned previously, a good phone must be able to perform and compete with the very best right out of the box. Anything less will be considered FAIL. Samsung did good IMO, 4.2.2 right out of the box for the S4.
