Samsung is indeed the king of android devices at the moment, we all know that and they've come up with some very good devices. But having one company monopolise market share is always a bad thing, which is why companies like HTC, Sony, etc have to step up and provide phones that can compete against Samsung. Healthy competition benefits the consumers, and Google too!

QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Feb 27 2013, 11:52 AM) The thing is HTC was there but they lost it. Sony well they was never there. I don't count X10 as being there. All phones after that was lower spec. This is the real deal. The good thing with Sony though is they have a potentially unlimited feel good design. True, plus I believe that we're going to hit a wall real soon in regards to processors in our smartphones. At least till they can come up with improved battery technology. Battery technology hasn't changed much in many years and it doesn't scale at all with processor technology. Too powerful processor also no use, you'll find yourself constantly recharging the phone. Soon we'll be up to 2 hour screen time with each phone Sony took a while to catch up. I wonder why they are that slow. I hope Sony don't score another Russian Roulette like they did with their Xperia S though. I don't like the Nexus 4. Just not a fan of the design. Not a fan of the S3s either. The XZ has been the phone that has wow'ed me and grabbed my attention. |

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Feb 27 2013, 01:11 PM) Preferably to get it at KL, Singapore is far for me and there might be warranty issues for me. Pre-order deposit depends on the Sony Centre, anywhere from RM50 - RM200. Pre-ordered mine at Ikano Sony Centre.I shall head to Sony Centre at Tmes Square later. What do I need to do to pre-order? Hopefully can get a fast reply, will head there around 3pm. Then wait for stock to arrive! |

If it's RM2299, still consider acceptable for me. If it's RM2499, then I won't get it. If it's RM1999, then pretty good price No idea what's going to happen with the price. Those that get it from Singapore, please test the speakers and the call quality. Most important so far! |

Yeah, that settles it then. I have no issues with speaker, I don't listen to music on phones or whatever. If I do, I like my treble
Ringtone loudness also not really a problem. Most of the time my phone is on silent. Call quality how? This post has been edited by refnulf: Feb 27 2013, 11:26 PM |
