I went to the Sony Center at The Gardens. They know nothing when I ask them whether the dock will be included and etc.

According to them, no news on freebies that comes with pre order. Sound like me it's a simple and plain pre order that guarantee the availability when it arrives.

Doesn't sound like a sincere marketing move from Sony

I just went to the one in KLCC, there is no definite pricing or the package that comes along. I only left my contact there for them to contact me when Xperia Z hits Malaysia.

On the list I already can see a few person interested to get it.

As for myself, I would want to get from Telco (Maxis) if possible or my friend who works in Sony IT Team (Potential Staff Discount)

I was totally sold for this phone, until I have two friends using Sony phone kept telling me not too or wait for a while first.

Both of them claim the built quality is not good enough, and the HTC One is sexy too XD

The Xperia Z had undergo a water resistance test before the speaker, which result in the speaker performance temporary not so loud. Plus, someone pointed out the xloud function had been turned off

Some additional info to those who have concern on the notification light.

HTC butterfly's Notification Light is one of the tiniest I have ever seen. Although they are available front and back but it's very tiny and from far definitely not noticable.

However for Phone call and SMS, the workaround I have is to install app for the camera flash blinking when there's incoming call or SMS, similar to iPhone and I think useful

For the greyish tone,if you realize it happen when there's "black" color on the wallpaper. previously there was a video on Youtube, a guy review the same thing. If you change the wallpaper to pure black color wallpaper, it wasnt a pure black but a bit greyish.

Price is indeed a concern but I think a lot people also concerned what comes along with. Say RM2299 , if they are giving dock and BT handsfree probably it's a good deal to a lot people.

I don't get it how often you copy a single file over 4Gb to a phone. A movie that is 1gb plus is already very good. Mind me to say 32Gb is more than enough for me,biggest file I have on s3 is 1gb plus which is a movie

I couldnt agree more, its a 5inches screen and although the reso goes to 1080P but the difference is hardly notice. Or unless you are perfectionist. No offend, how many that usually play over 4gb file for the sake of want the 1080P quality (if only they really can differentiate it) or for the sake of telling yourself (hey my phone is capable of playing 4gb file at superb quality which hardly people truly notice the difference)

My point is, 4gb file on a phone is a bit over in my point of view. Anything that is 1gb-2gb is very sufficient on a phone.

Anyhow, just my 2 cents and the 64gb sd card is not a concern to me at all.

Base on my experience, AP and Ori warranty doesnt differ much. In some cases, sometimes AP provider even serve you better.

Ever since my past case with Nokia (long long time ago), I decided that AP and Ori warranty no difference. But now the difference is I can cash in my points with Sony Center so I cant take from AP Provider T.T
