I agree wit u bro, we need to consider that the mass market are full of ignorance. Many of smartphone user today doesnt really have a clue bout the spec, screen angle watsoever, they bought the phone which are the trend in the market. Thus that lead to why most people opt for either samsung or iphone. But i think at least those who bought iphone able to enjoy using their iphone becoz it was easy n simple to use. On the other hand, people that bought samsung are different case, there r people who bought s3 or note because of their good spec and also the features offered by the phone. Some just bought it for the sake of buying bcoz it was what most people buy. I met a lot of people think that only samsung using android, the worst i met was people who has no idea what is android eventho they r using 1.

So i conclude that general consumer will buy what is the most 'hype' phone in the market. Also pretty n sexy design helps a lot in first impression. N ofcoz, a superb marketing strategy and aggresive advertising played an important factors to increase the sale. That is why samsung excel selling their product. There r people who bought a samsung galaxy y because they thought that the camera will be as good as s3. This is due to in their mind samsung is the best brand to date. I read somwhere that samsung spend billions of dollars in advertising,promoting and marketing. N they succeeded.

So what sony need to do in order to get a high sale for their phone is to promote aggresively like samsung did. Sony need to rebuild their image, create awareness to the consuner about their phone. In my opinion, htc isnt really a threat, at not in malaysia market i assumed, but the biggest challenge is the incoming galaxy s4. N that is really the biggest theeat. Currently even if s4 somehow the spec isnt inpressive enough, the camera wasnt good enough n the design not cool enough, they will stil be able to sell their phone witout any worries. People will buy samsung as the reality is that samsung is no 1 in phone business.

Also we can stream from pc too. I always stream my movies into my tablet s using es explorer app. Just 1 question, via streaming, did we lose the quality of the pic compared to play directly from internal storage?

If sony mobile malaysia offered cool goodies such as free wireless headset or speaker or dock upon launching, then i will buy it on d spot. But if nothing or unworthy stuff bundle together, then i guess i'll a little longer for it to release in terengganu. No point if i go to kl to get it if there is no different other than get it faster.
