Z : 0.41min or 24.6sec

Theoretically if the Z have the same 3100 batt, it would have a 1271mins or 21hrs 11 mins
but is has not too bad

Im both android(xperia arc) and ios iphone 5 user. I'll say u cant compare both phone as it hav different experience on each other. If u ready to switch camp n try android, i suggest u start with a cheaper model or play ur fren's phone first. I hv a fren switch from iphone 4 to note 2, only for a week then he use iphone again. For some people, once they already too comfortable with one os, it is hard to switch.

For obvious comparison xperia z vs iphone 5,

Xperia z - bigger screen 5" with 1080p display
- android jellybean, smooth enough almost no lag at all
- very sexy design

Iphone 5 - very smooth
- notin new in term of experience (same as previous iphone generation

Basically i love android more for it customization n widgets. Iphone is more straight forward experience. I find the screen of iphone 5 is very small for me. But it was a nice experience n i enjoying ios too. It always nice to have both android n ios devices.

Note 2: 1mAh = 0.17min (10.2 sec) or 1min = 5.87mAh
Z: 1mAh = 0.17min (10.2sec) or 1min = 5.87mAh

For video:
Note 2: 1mAh = 0.22min (13.30sec) or 1min = 4.52mAh
Z: 1mAh = 0.15min (8.73 sec) or 1min = 6.87mAh


note 2 have similar web browsing time with the z for every mAh usage
but much better when running video

might be the display of Z consuming too much power

in the end
unlike normal phones where you can hope for a bigger size battery by sony or 3rd party
the Z is limited to whatever sony have to offer, plus the hassle to send back for batt change

The PC fair in Penang got no immediate stocks for both the Z and ZL. You can pay 100 bucks to preorder, stock will only available end of next week.

Yeah but that's all hypothetical so it's a non starter. We are referring to the actual articles. But it's a good thesis.

My Z's stamina function is broken. Turning it on or off no change to estimated standby time. I'm repairing it with Sony PC Companion, sigh..

I think I gonna skip this thread for some time. My friend who work for Sony got staff price , but have to wait until end of April.

You shouldn't. Hanging around would make you the wiser as you will get more insight on the phone.
