Yes I agree with you, I'm guessing it's in the range between 6.5% to 7%

ASB announced this year that the dividend for 2017 is 7% and historically EPF dividend is never higher than ASB dividend.

This is due to ASB's asset allocation is
more than 70% in equities and the remaining in fixed income instruments

vs

EPF's asset allocation is
46% in equities and 54% in money market & fixed income instruments

As you can see EPF's asset allocation is more balanced (less risky compared to ASB) due to EPF is the people's retirement savings, and they have to guarantees a minimum of 2.5 Per Cent Dividend annually.

Made self contribution last week on Thursday 25/1 and surprisingly the amounts are not reflected in i-akaun right now. Never had a problem before this.
Am worried won't be able to enjoy the dividend for the whole month of Feb. If it's only reflected tomorrow, I still won't get the dividend for the month of February , correct?

Don't worry, the statement for 2018 contribution will be made available after the dividend for 2017 has been declared. Till then just wait until EPF announce their dividend which will be happening soon.
