looks like 75 is the max....b4 they classified it as unclaimed...

Unclaimed Contribution Information Criteria:
•Aged 75 years and above as at 31 December 2014 or birthdate is unknown
•Has balance in the account as at 31 December 2014
•No annual dividend withdrawal which is still active

If 75 im happy, the base amount can still draw annual divident which is better than fd 😄😄

Anyone know where or is it even possible to get past EPF statements (say for last 15-20yrs)? Need to check accumulated dividends.

Did u call their CS for assistance?

Called them today and surprisingly they can only furnish statements for the past 10yrs max. Nothing more than that. I thought EPF is one of the more efficient one, but in this area they are not vmad.gif vmad.gif

Is one allowed to keep his savings in epf even after he retires at 55, with the intent of drawing only dividend annually?

Its hard to find 6+% annual returns passively.

If you have more than 1M, you can take the excess out any time.

I think it is anything excess of RM1.05million and above.

Can’t wait till that time comes. Hands will be itchy.

I plan to live of epf income after retirement, so hoping 4.5-5.5% yield maintain regardless of savings amount.

I thk this is fair to everyone

Recent news that came out... had made me to ponder on whether i will be pulling out my EPF > 1mil excess and invest outside...

I'm starting to see a bleak future for our country based on recent decisions been made...

At this moment... all points to how much they would give in dividends for last year. if it's still below 6%... i'm pulling out..

I took out excess to buy gold. Good hedge against inflation. YTD gain 5%, three weeks into Jan.
