QUOTE(Hansel @ Jun 14 2021, 03:02 PM)
Guys,... I watch Bloomberg almost everyday, I saw one advert quite recently,...Serba Dinamik, giving big words abt themselves in their slot in Bloomberg. The CEO sat on on a nice chair and spoke so greatly abt the company,....

Today,... we can see it's a bunch of lies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So,... don't trust everything Bloomberg advertises. That advert was quire recent,... which means SB would be having probs already by then,...

i see. all parties have the rights to clear their names, let's see.

QUOTE(Hansel @ Jun 15 2021, 02:09 PM)
In short, he spoke abt their ESG plans, how they helped their people excelled and if I'm not mistaken,... their strategy for the environment, being in the O&G industry. After all spoken, they failed their audit tests,.... Audit tests encompass all the above,...

So ? What's declared to the public is not = what that's been audited. How do you term that ?

Expect lower EPF dividends of 4.8%-5.1%, says source
FMT Reporters - 02 Mar 2023, 11:43pm

Last year, the fund declared 6.1% for conventional accounts and 5.65% for shariah savings.

EPF’s dividend payout for conventional savings have ranged from a low of 5.2% (2020) to a high of 6.9% (2017) over the past decade.
PETALING JAYA: Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributors have to brace themselves for a much lower dividend compared to what they received last year, which was 6.1% for conventional accounts and 5.65% for shariah savings.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the dividend for conventional savings is expected to be between 4.8% and 5.1% while for shariah it could range from 4% to 4.5%.

EPF is expected to make the announcement tomorrow unless there are last-minute changes.

this is good news or bad news?

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Feb 23 2024, 04:25 PM)
Tax expert predicts 2023 EPF dividend rate at below 6% yet higher than previous year’s 5.35%

MALAYSIANS can expect some solace or silver lining amid the drastic fall of the ringgit as the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is likely to declare 2023 dividend payout between 5.5% and 5.8% in early March.

“In simple term, it is better than the previous year but EPF members should not have too high an expectation.”

Even as the unemployment rate has declined, Koong pointed out that EPF is still reeling from the “lost funds” effect – referring to the four times of special withdrawals during at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic – which have not been channelled back to the retirement fund.

“To declare the dividend payout of 6%, EPF will have to maintain current dividend payout as well as deliver a better performance in its investment portfolios for one to two years,”.
