What I dislike is the time taken to calculate the dividend...

Take like 2 months period...

Nowadays with technology, AI accounting system... Just matter of days can already...

I'm thinking maybe it's about the approval. That takes time as many ppl will want to have a say.

Is it true under the new guideline, only excess of Rm1mil +100K can be withdrawn next year onwards ?

Then excess RM1mil +100K +100k the year after can be withdrawn ?

According to this site,

https://theedgemalaysia.com/node/737967

New RM1.3 mil threshold
With the introduction of its enhanced savings threshold of RM1.3 million, the EPF will also increase the threshold at which EPF members can take out excess savings at any time from the current RM1 million to RM1.1 million from Jan 1, 2026, RM1.2 million from 2027, and RM1.3 million from 2028.

Aduii, need to replan abit. Putting into EPF is good but to chat with the increasing min withdrawal balance is tough.

The writing is already on the wall.

Only the top 1% can retire comfortably, which includes government pensioners

Logic will tell you what's going to happen to these 1% group

sure, it is understandable we in here prefer EPF
any time
compared to  CPF

1. withdrawal restricted
2. Dividend lower
3. what else?

it loses out to Singapore in sustainabilty
and adequacy

retirees in singapore are more protected
many in Malaysia are not adequately covered.
pandai pandai lah jaga sendiri
