I didn't receive SMS alert for an online payment made at AirAsia website.

What is the min amount that trigger such alert? Or do I miss anything for setting up the alert in the internet banking?

AFAIK >RM500, you can set the sms alert to rm201 minimum.

Need some advice:
My OCBC titanium (latest statement date 11Aug) is up for renewal this 24Aug but my Retail spend only touch rm8300, still short of rm1700 for the 'Annual Usage Bonus' of RM50. According to the CS if I cancel the card before 24Aug(b4 GST rm50 is charged) my rebate for the month will be burned. So she suggested that I stop using the card after 24Aug(got a problem here as my Telekom autodebit is on 25Aug) and wait for the next statement on 11Sep. By then the GST will be charged and I still get the 'MONTHLY cash rebate of RM50 instead of being burned'. After I got this statement I then call the CS to request for 'Annual Usage Bonus' eventhough my Annual Retail Spend is short. I can then decide whether to keep the card or not. If I cancel the card I can also ask for the GST to be nullify.
My other problem is the Telekom autodebit. My telekom bill will be dated on 16Aug.
Can I pay the bill using OCBConline today(13/8) an estimated higher amount so that the autodebit would not be triggered on 25Aug?
How long it takes to cancel the autodebit facility?

Add:
Called Telekom at 100 and manage to cancel autodebit effectively tomorrow.

I do not have the answer for your question but my question is, why not just pay the RM50 GST and continue to keep the card? Your RM8300 usage already gives you RM400+ in rebate (assuming 5%). Unless of course, if your intention is to cancel the card indefinitely.

Thinking of changing to HLB Wise Card and also if too many cards, spending on each card will be reduced and subsequently not qualify for bonus/rebate like the OCBC 'Annual Usage Bonus'.

Depend on your spending pattern I guess. Wise card is only good if you can satisfy the criteria (10 x RM50 on related transactions).

Anyhow I think keeping OCBC Titanium is good as many ppl complain of it hard to be approve. Just afraid if you cancel and reapply will not be that easy anymore.

1% of other transaction is still good compared to many cards.

I just reach 1 year of my card as well and I did obtain the Annual usage bonus. Depend how you see it, one side is glad that i able to get GST offset, the other side means I just spend RM10,000.

This coming year I foresee myself not using that much too as Unifi n TNB can be paid through M2kard Amex through M2U and I have UOB One card for my BHP Petrol. Mostly will only be used for dining and other bills like telco.

Anyhow I don't understand why you mention can get the offset of RM50 if you postpone the usage since you can't achieve RM10000 usage anyway. Anyhow you can always overpay now so that when your bill comes out it'll be negative value. But do make sure that you have to pay before your bill generated. Or else anyhow the autodebit will kicks in as it based on your bill statement amount. So by paying more before it, you will have negative value and won't trigger your autodebit to pay.

Every month pumping petrol 5x + shop/buy vouchers at AEON 5x is achiveable.
By using Wise and MBB2Amex which overlap many of the OCBC categories that enjoys 5% rebates, I would get more rebates.
Probably only left with Municipal Bills/IWK/SAJ for OCBConline(on second thought might keep this CC for these transactions).
Will use MBB2Amex for AIA, TNB, Telekom, Groceries. Wise for Petrol, DeptStores, Maxis and DiGI.
Still searching for a CC for online purchases like Airlines/Hotels/Groupon (CIMB CB?) Was rejected by RHB Signature eventhough met their criteria (suspect it is becos of BT reflected in CCRIS).
Already cancel the Telekom autodebit thru Telekom 100.

Pay insurance only  2x TP now??That is a rebate of  0.6% only?

I made a mistake using Amex to pay my AIA insurance..........
Should have used OCBC card instead.............Or watami  if quota not filled.
*
This year should stop using Amex for AIA. Looks like Watami should be considered.

You must keep OCBC Ti for 1% CB for other transactions not accepted by Amex and not in chosen category in your WISE card.
*
I am now considering AEON Watami card for this category of transactions which gives 3%, eg AIA, Car Maintenance, Hospital, Popular Bookshop.

WATAMI would be a better choice. But since you have concern about 10k spending commitment in OCBC, WATAMI requires min3k per q too.
*
As most OCBC 5% rebate categories overlap with HLB-Wise and MBB2Amex (except for Assessment/IWK/SAJ) without which will make it very hard to achieve 10k spending/year. Those other 1% CB transaction if switch to Watami would give 3% CB.

Thank you OCBC for giving me the Annual Usage Bonus eventhough I spent rm2k short of the required rm10k. This happens after I requested from the CS.
