Hi there, I thought of applying for OCBC Titatium card. As I already have a platinum card which gives me points. Having a card with cash back seems good. However to take this card I think I have to cancel my HSBC and Citibank credit card, cause I think 4 credit cards are too much.. Lolz!

Anyhow, actually I am worried about the acceptance of the OCBC credit card overseas. Cause I have heard that there are some retailers overseas doesn't accept CIMB and Maybank, even though it is verified by VISA or MasterCard. Anybody had issues using this card overseas?

Thanks and cheers!

I had never experienced any problems with the acceptance of Maybank and CIMB cards in Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. And I don't expect there will be, as long as I inform the respective banks of my trips beforehand.

but somehow...for my trip... my hotel only accept standard chartered...even though i tried swiping ocbc titanium and both my mbb 2 cards....

however, i tried swipe ocbc in supermarket and it went through...

i called CS for all cards to tell them about my trip beforehand  hmm.gif

Was the hotel located near the Bermuda Triangle? Haha..

But seriously, that shouldn't be the case, from my experiences.
