I think the previous msg that everyone receive on the chance to win Galaxy Note 2/Iphone 5/Ipad mini refers to the promotion below

http://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/pr...mo#.UWOXvKXzu8A

only applicable for supplementary card holder only but can get the RM25 GST offset upon 3 swipes, so actually can try your luck too if interested.

I think it's a typo, the bill payment should be only RM30

If let's say my transaction date is 11th, but my posting date only comes out on 13th (my statement date on 12th), the rebate is under the next statement right?

RM 30 is first come first serve for new card applicant only
*
not necessary, it applicable for existing card holder as well with the conditions that he/she has not performed any online bill payment from Dec 2012 till Feb 2013 this year.

of course, on first come first serve basis.

My OCBC cc always uses its max of RM 1000 for my utility pyt (auto debit). Any other payments (e.g. insurance premium) will be using other cards to earn the points or rebate. The one I m going to pay is the insurance premium.

Anyway, thanks for the  advice.

since you mention that your OCBC card is used for utilities, no harm paying upfront through the online billing as your utility statement will be deducted after that also.

1. Using Paypal to buy GSC ticket. (MCC code: 4814)
2. Elken Service Sdn Bhd - to Service my water filter. (MCC code: 5968)
3. Use ipay88 to buy coupon at livingsocial website. (MCC code: 4816)

For previous promotion , pay online bill and get RM30 rebate,
I did not receive any rebate into my account Since 30th Of June.
The latest statement also dun have.

Being Lied. Haiz.

They didn't lie (or at least not yet). The TnC clearly mention it will only pay out 8-10 weeks after 30th of June.

which mean is end of this month latest.

I do not have the answer for your question but my question is, why not just pay the RM50 GST and continue to keep the card? Your RM8300 usage already gives you RM400+ in rebate (assuming 5%). Unless of course, if your intention is to cancel the card indefinitely.

Thinking of changing to HLB Wise Card and also if too many cards spending on each card will be reduced and subsequently not qualify for bonus/rebate like the OCBC 'Annual Usage Bonus'.
*
Depend on your spending pattern I guess. Wise card is only good if you can satisfy the criteria (10 x RM50 on related transactions).

Anyhow I think keeping OCBC Titanium is good as many ppl complain of it hard to be approve. Just afraid if you cancel and reapply will not be that easy anymore.

1% of other transaction is still good compared to many cards.

I just reach 1 year of my card as well and I did obtain the Annual usage bonus. Depend how you see it, one side is glad that i able to get GST offset, the other side means I just spend RM10,000.

This coming year I foresee myself not using that much too as Unifi n TNB can be paid through M2kard Amex through M2U and I have UOB One card for my BHP Petrol. Mostly will only be used for dining and other bills like telco.

Anyhow I don't understand why you mention can get the offset of RM50 if you postpone the usage since you can't achieve RM10000 usage anyway. Anyhow you can always overpay now so that when your bill comes out it'll be negative value. But do make sure that you have to pay before your bill generated. Or else anyhow the autodebit will kicks in as it based on your bill statement amount. So by paying more before it, you will have negative value and won't trigger your autodebit to pay.

hi guys.. just checking if anyone recently (august) got 20% rebate from dining at the curve? I ate at Bumbu Desa on 4th August, did not receive any SMS saying I got the rebate.

Not sure if the RM20k allocation for August already been used up that early????  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

can sumone confirm?
*
I think ronnie mention he got the sms for curve rebate for Aug on the 8th. So yours should can get. I tried before sometimes didn't receive the sms, maybe server problem.

That is assuming your bill is more than RM50 also.

I'm currently on auto pay for TM point (but not on my card) and we get the RM2 rebates.

Just to confirm, if I switch it over to OCBC card for auto pay, I should still get 5% rebate for my card and separate RM2 from TM right?
*
Yes, 5% rebate from OCBC statement rebate and another RM2 from TM bill for autobilling rebate.

Came across something. The new product disclosure sheet states that there is an automatic GST redemption with minimum RM10k retail spend/cash advance per annum (RM5k for supp).

Come to think of it, i received RM50 two times during my card anniversary. So spending RM10k actually gives us RM100 (RM50 for annual usage bonus + RM50 for GST redemption). Can someone check their statement on this RM50 + RM50 and verify?

This is a good news  rclxms.gif

Thanks to cfa28 for sharing the PDS.

I only receive once on my Aug anniversart date sad.gif

Nope, my cash back for that month is RM48.45. So there is no double RM50 for RM10k spend then.

I consider my extra RM50 as bonus  innocent.gif

The statement should have a description on the extra RM50 that you earn.

Mine is just written annual usage bonus which is given for the RM10,000 spend per annum.
