well its no wonder, but most of the time its the battery fault, anyway cant denied there are chances it might be the software fault.

Try reset it, if not succesfull the its the battery fault maybe,

anyway there are no option in replacing the batteries, unless you follow the step by sep provide by some expert that you can googled,

OR jus buy a new one. Thats what apple like the most. Battery Kong and just go buy a new one.

Mine is a different problem. It takes a long time to get to full charge - 6 - 7 hours. I hope it is not leading to you problem eventually.

alright. so i managed to manually drain the battery slowly. last percent was around 6% until it goes completely off, cant turn on. then i even waited 1 day before plugging the charger.

plugged the charger just now. the lightning icon with empty battery pops up, which is good. but only for like 3 SECONDS, then it boots up like nobodys business. and then, at the springboard, 78% battery. oh my.....

even if i charged them fully, it will always be 78% of nothingness. (feels like buying potato chips bag, lots of air)...

anyone knows someone/shop which do swapping ipad 2 batteries? or 3rd party higher capacity battery?

Bring it back to Apple reseller directly, it's safer that way.
