the article itself clearly stated that indian-muslim should be recognized as a bumi. im not sure if you're reading the same article as i did, but it clearly stated 'bumiputra status'

and in case u didnt know, article 160, 161 of the constitution stated that  "Malay" and "indigenous peoples" (Article 160(2)), "natives" of Sarawak (161A(6)(a)), and "natives" of Sabah (Article 161A(6)9b)) are categorised as BUMI
