what happen to ur butterfly ?
*
It just went dead. Cannot power on or reboot or do anything..lolz
But their service centre is very good. They just tell me they will issue a new set this Wednesday. No need asking..begging or demand anything. Not like Samsung where they will thousand reasons to repair your phone instead of exchange a new one doh.gif

Yeah..lucky me laugh.gif
But i really suprised that no question asked. They try to power on the phone..cannot..they just simply say "we issue you a new set this Wednesday". ohmy.gif
If Samsung..i'm 100% sure will say "you need to leave your phone here and our technician will see what wrong with it and repair it for you" doh.gif

Have you put any data or files into your internal storage after that accidential delete.? If you haven't put anything then you can try Hexamob Recovery app from market.

It might not working or only partially working. Insert external sdcard as any recovery from internal storage will or should appear in your external sdcard.

However..if you already put something new data or files or even some apps then i'm afraid won't work as that new data/files have already overwritten and fill your accidential delete images spaces.

So their are pro n cons.normally you guys select your phone base on what?
*
Actually all depends on what you need or wants. biggrin.gif
For good looking..go for HTC One..Xperia Z or Butterfly. Samsung phones never good looking one..lolz
For practical reason..full of features..easy flashing..go for Samsung phones..like this coming S4.
All other phone comes with locked boot loader while Samsung open theirs. It's a heaven phone for kaki flashing and custom Roms developers.

Still hoping that it will go for 5" just like the butterfly with maybe half alluminium body. .with removable batt and sd card.. am I asking too much? smile.gif
*

Very hard to day. Allu or any hard backcover = unremovable battery. Most probably still using thin, bendable plastic.
But who know..maybe S4 can be different this time around biggrin.gif

Keeping higher version is the best option.. you got back your butterfly?
*
Not yet..will be getting it this Wednesday if stock available.
Keeping S3 and S4 together are not worth it. Atleast with Butterfly and S4 still okay as both come from different brand and have different characteristic.

I can boot into download mode. I just need to reset the flash counter and unroot it in order to claim the warranty. Is there any tutorial? All I could find is triangle away sad.gif
*
If can go into download mode.
- download stock firmware from Sammobile.
- flash that firmware.
- root you phone.
- TriangleAway your binary counter.
- flash again that stock firmware.

How to install triangle away since I couldn't switch on my phone? I can only enter the download mode by pressing volume down + home + power. And the recovery mode. Definitely can't access the normal interface. yawn.gif
*
Did you read my given steps..?
You need to flash stock firmware first then need to root it in order to use TriangleAway.
After reset..need to reflash again that stock firmware to unroot your phone.

I just flashed stock firmware and root it using odin. How to use TriangleAway in download mode then?
*
You mean your phone now okay and rooted again..?
You already have SuoerSU..right..?
Now install TriangleAway app from market OR download the apk from xda website.
After that just run the TriangleAway and follow all its steps.
Reboot and prepare to reflash the stock firmware again.
Thus will unroot your phone back into normal and official firmware with zero count on binary counter.
