Everyone have different needs, so it's very hard to judge based on other's experiences

As for me, I'm very very satisfied with my Nexus 4 as I'm coming from Desire HD (it's really a huge jump for me to one of the top-tier devices with cheaper prices). Also I don't have to worry that the manufacturer will suddenly make announcements such as "your hardware does not allow further OS updates as it will cripple users experiences" anymore, as the updates for Nexus are usually the fastest and directly from Google.

Satisfied too..but this N4 become common phone already.lol

one thing not satisfied lor.. listening to music on earphone not nice lor... i dont know how to tweak anymore..

Everyone knows about iPhone, and most knows about Samsung's Android phones (S3 / Note2).

But not everyone knows about Nexus series and its benefit.

The thread is growing so rapidly.

If you like Android, Nexus 4 is the best phone for you.

Pure Android experience, without none sense TouchWiz, HTC Sense and we got to use the latest, best OS first. Other manufacturer may not even upgrade your phone. Unlike Google, they are happier to sell you a new phone.

In term of hardware, it's rare to have a Nexus that also include the best of hardware:

1. S4 Pro CPU
2. Adreno 320 GPU
3. IPS screen
4. MDM9215 cellular chipset
5. Slim and beautiful

I really like this spec. I prolly will not buy it (even if it's a Nexus) if they slap in a Tegra CPU. So, if Nexus 5 is going to use Tegra 4, I am so going to beat the Nexus 5 benchmark and battery life with my Nexus 4.

Rumurs is Tegra 4 will finally move to 28nm (just like our S4), but still maintain the 5th little core. nVidia pushing it to 1.9ghz. I already can run my N4 at 1.8ghz...

do a nandroid backup using your custom recovery, and copy that backup to the PC just in case. so you can always restore to your stock rooted ROM if you dont like the new setup that you are trying.

if you are on stock ROM + franco kernel and want to revert back to stock kernel as well, just flash the stock kernel reset zip file in motley's thread.

CWM backup is in /data/media/clockworkmod/backup

On top of that, once you've done a full backup, you can use CWM "advance" to just restore kernel if you want.

You must be new nexus user
Most nexus users are always excited about latest os updates even very minor
They have this "incurable disease" that all updates must be installed in quickest time possible
Than some will gladly boast about it n demean other brands of not getting it as fast as the nexus range
And btw I will update mine tonight to 4.2.2 too for my nexus7 
Similarly for nexus4 too once available
But I will not boast about getting it n said bad stuffs about other makes
