my area usually has HSPA but recently only got EDGE. called Maxis and make noise, they fixed it within a day, now got back HSPA.

quantity doesn't equal to quality. they have a bigger thread, but we have the better phone.

i think u r the only one here (in a nexus 4 thread) claiming that the note 2 is a better phone and u like touchpiss, as i remembered correctly, many many times.

i told him not to give his opinion on the Note 2 is a better phone on a specific phone thread, not on a general thread like the 'Android' thread. the problem was (key word, if u are good in english), he (the same user) keeps on saying he likes Note 2 and touchpiss in THIS thread, i don't know how many times already. 1 or 2 times i will still keep mum, but more than that i will make some noise. sorry for the rude behavious.

your phone is malaysia set or from other countries? mine bought from digi and not yet got any OTA yet. does the 'clear data in google service framework' method works for local set?

i found out y i didn't get the OTA notice even after clearing the service framework. after i disable it and enable it back, i got the OTA notification immediately.

strange why we have to do this to get the update, shouldn't it work without all the hassle?

click clear data and disable. then enable back (it will go to the bottom of the app list)

NO. terminate means 100% cut ties with digi, so your line will be cut, including 3g. it's better that way, because you won't have to worry about the aftermaths of digi screwing with u after that. there are a lot of ppl who thought they terminated their digi line but after a few years, digi's law firm will call to tell you to pay the remaining amount u owes them because u didn't terminate your account. this amount can be below 100 bucks or more than 1k. u can argue all u want but if u didn't have a termination letter from digi, they will keep on calling u until they got fed up and choose between 1 of 2 choices. they either sue u or they let u go, it all depends on your luck sometimes. i've experienced this before, so has my wife. my bill almost reached 1k after 5 years of me not using the line, at that time don't have 3g yet. their lawyers called me and said all those BS about bringing me to court yada yada, i just told them to bring it on, we'll see in the consumers tribunal because i'll be filing a complaint against them, since i didn't even use 1 cent and they didn't notify me for so long, we'll see who will win, after this they shut up.

that's y if u don't want to use digi for long term, it's advisable to just terminate on the spot and take the termination letter.

ppl who wants to control their phones without any internet connections MUST TRY this, it's just amazing especially the custom commands. i can literally tell the phone or tablet to do (almost) anything with ANY language I want, since it recognizes voice instead of words

still in beta, got some bugs but it really works

what telco r u using? and what area? did u check your APN?

my best record (when on 4.2) is 1 day 16 hours with everything on. using Internet Commander Pro to control connections. didn't play any games though, only use for normal stuff (that day quite busy, so only minimum use). anyway, when we don't use our phones fully, it's a waste.

how big is the file. sometimes for big files need 3rd party app to transfer. i'm using file expert to transfer large files (any file)
