this is set to 30secs but i use this ---> Screebl.., so that whenever i hold my device, the screen won't turn off tongue.gif..just when its idle, 30secs off smile.gif

haha..nice apps. But personally I don't like kinds of this apps. Because there are running threads to keep polling the reading from the orientation sensor. To check whether phone is static or else, hmm...this is just all abt battery consumption. Maybe is my personally preference that don't like to spare my battery on this. lol tongue.gif

Hi guys,

Anyone here face this problem?

When I'm  calling the screen goes off and I was unable to cancel the phone call.

The screen will go back to normal when the opposite cancel the phone call.

Try restart but still the same

Phone not rooted, happen on 4.2.1 and 4.2.2

You are not alone bro. I get almost the same too. Max 2hrs on screen time with full charge....
*
erm i am not sure why become like that since many good feedback for 4.2.2 on the battery life span.

I think if you wan to let people help here.
1. Please get the battery logs with some details apps such as BetterBatteryStats. Then dump the logs here. Let's see what is the wakelock exist. Because we don't know where are going wrong if simply state the SOT only.

2. Simple way, when you are free to test, Please force stop all the background running apps such as whatapps, facebook and etc. Because such apps are keep running on the background to poll the services. After force close, please test whether it had been better. Remember that, battery consumption still depends on user's usage. So it is still better to get the battery stat^^

3. The data signal changing also cause battery leaks. Weak signal area will cause more battery lost because it keep searching and changing the signal state until the stable signal. So if u want, u can manually set to 2g network only when u are under weak signal area

Is there any apps which is free to test ?
*
Did u follow the advise in first page? and then if u wan to have better control u can consider Power toggles to enable/disable any control that may not necessary manually. For ex 2g/3g

QUOTE(devinz @ Feb 20 2013, 02:49 PM)
Thanks bro for your advice. I am collecting battery logs via BBS as we speak as I just reset my N4.

By the way, just wondering if there is anyway to check if it is faulty battery? Just worry it is battery issue...
*
Unless u get a very strange and abnormal battery behavior, if not it should not be worry. To test ur battery, better stay in a clean rom and test your battery.

Normally when u charged to 100% from charger as displayed. It is not actually 100%, it is just normally ~95/96%. It is just 100% as indicator to cut the power source so that no more charging is allowed. So, do try few more cycle to test ur battery. And again, do note that using data causing higher msic wakelocks so using data is more battery consume than wifi^^

Only that?cause I wanna get wireless charger for overnight charge so that after finish charging, can auto off for me,but I also want the freedom to move around also
*
lol...bro..that is an ideal case of wireless implementation. But somehow in real case, there is still found that the distance will depreciate the efficiency of the inductance charging. So, to achieve the best efficiency, it is still necessary to keep as closed as possible.

But who knows, tech changed rapidly. Maybe next changed will evolve till like nowadays wireless internet. Bring everywhere also can be charged. lol....

Do you have touch control PGM ?
*
nope...because i also found that the battery leaks from that apps. so i had tested with touch control with 1 cycle battery and another 1 cycle battery without touch control. As result, obviously, with touch control, battery is dropped much faster. See my battery result here, the idle time is awesome. when i sleep for 6- 8 hours, it just dropped 2 or 3% only.^^

the additional drain from touch control should be very minimal. It maybe use around 1-3 percent of your battery everyday. I have the touch control installed since the day sophan demoed it to me and can still get around the same SOT as before. Didn't notice any noticeable differences.
*
Hmm I did use the touch control when i am using r53 franco kernel. It works like as u said. Not much battery drained. but moving towards r71 and then now 4.2.2. it seem like keep draining my battery. I am also doesnt know what the significant wakelocks are involving since i cant get any data regarding to touch control from the BBS. I think I want to check how the touch control works like first..hmm... hmm.gif

What I was saying is, there was a news that Qualcomm would have a software to allow the phone's battery to last 20% longer. I thought it's a low level tweak where it take advantage of Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors (which means it should only works for this processor). But after using BatteryGuru, it's NOT. It's just a gimmick.
After the learning process, I found out, the app disabled my sync, all of them. I remember I left 1 or 2 options at it's preset sync state (needed the push on Gmail, 2 accounts), while others to sync when loading the app. I found this out when I was trying to load an offline Google Drive document when I was in a lift, and I can't load cause the document has expired. I was furious indeed.  doh.gif

Upon seeing that, I know that app is up to no good. It's not even something that takes advantage of the processor. It just disable sync, which can be performed on any Android phones. This doesn't make having Snapdragon-powered device special at all. It makes us users look stupid.  doh.gif
*
lol...by seeing this apps didnt have any root permission. I was wondering how they manage to implement the low level management based on the user behavior. This made me so wondering about this application. But after tried, as same as you said, it is really just a gimmick. lol....haha nothing help for me also..Greenify is enough for me already. lol..doesnt need any others battery save apps any more. lol

Did the staff photostat the registration statement for you? check your registration statement properly that is mentioned zero contract. Not 24 months contract. If there mentioned zero contract with 48 per month, u had no worry abt haha. Then it is really so good haha......since the web there only stated 68/88. lol haha congratz ya^^ rclxms.gif

This is really good to let the others people who wan to buy, first to ask whether eligible to sign plan 48!! haha Great rclxms.gif
