Guys - quick question.

Just bought the Year of the Snake OP...

The OP transformation is a bit simple...just twist forward the hand, pop up the head and flip the leg downwards..and you get the robot mode.

Was the original Energon/Superlink tranformation really that simple?? Even my 3 year old son can transform it.
Just felt 'cheated' coz paid SGD100 for such a simple toy.

I also own the snake year optimus, and Yap, memang like that.. though the original one came with chest light and sounds, on the new one they completely remove the gimmick.. You can see under prime's butt, there is originally a battery compartment, but now sealed with a dead screw.. and the LED hole in his chest is left empty without any LEDs..

You are paying that much basically for the 'exclusive snake year edition' status it has and also for the very nice packaging. I believe the original takara version got nicer colours and chrome some more, but that one know is almost rm500 IF you can find one.. The snake year version is supposed to be homaging G1 optimus prime's colours..

Ya..saw the battery compartment...and the BIG hole in the chest

Another problem I notice is the leg....when combine with the drones...OP needs to 'kangkang' a bit coz the leg drones are a bit too fat and they touch each other.

Color wise - think its quite accurate to superlink. Juz dun like the modified Autobot sign.

SGD100 is quite good price. yes, both year of snake Omega Supreme & OP are very easy transformation. one of the forumer posted alink of his video review before, really super easy transformation, i was really surprise after watching the video, because from the box and the figure itself, it doesn't look easy.

i think original release is better. basically you're paying premium price for something that is simple to transformed and has no gimmick.

but its also for those who missed/ didnt get the original release.

but its pricy for my taste.

Got 2 gimmicks!!!!

1 - all the drones are interchangeble (can be arm / leg)
2. The drill drone - the drill spins when the drone moves

I suddenly tergila-gila bout OP this past 2 weeks...and since the Superlink OP is kinda hard to find now, so juz sapu the Snake OP.

3. (as mentioned earlier) exclusive "Year of the Snake" exclusive label.

Since TF Energon stuff were released many,many years ago... dont expect the toy engineering to be on par with live-action-movie (which I think many put benchmark on, especially those who pickup this hobby after the 1st live-action movie was shown).

always..alwayss see some video reviews before u buy things.. that OP to me, is best paired with Energon / Superlink Wing Saber..

"Consignment arrived at processing center" for how many days already?!!!

Grand convoy is awesome..
Price was rm129.90 retail years ago..
Now snake op is consider asia exclusive for year of the snake..price went up because of the pretty box packing

Please consider calling the poslaju hotline about it..provide them the tracking number,u wil get your answer..their system most update compare the online website..

Im guessing probably your address wrote wrong,poslaju couldnt find it..

Cant always blame the poslaju until u knw the real reason..

Maybe they delivered but you not at home, and they leave a card and you did not receive the card.
Maybe they delivered but deliver at wrong house, and they leave a card, so you definitely not receive the card.
Maybe (international postage?) the parcel at kastam.

Whatever the reason, just call them.

Ah yes... my parents house is always my defacto address for my oversea parcel (mostly LEGO hehehe) coz got people to receive and signoff... (100% no problem till now )

When it comes to local posts, got one occasion they actually give up finding my address (maklumlah... kampung baru) and I have to go to Poslaju center and pickup. the parcel stayed there for 2 weeks (minus CNY holidays) with no-action-taken.


conclusion: just call and self-pickup.

Just to note here...if your package sent locally using poslaju...delivery period usually will be around 1-2 days..probably 3 at most..

If more but still not received...call the post office..

btw, i did make lotsa call to hotline and even the HQ and branch office.. hotline and branch office keep busy for all the time i called, never pick up..
and HQ asked me to called branch cos she cant help.. that was the thing frustrated made me asked here.. i not never try but it's ok now..

just weird posLAJU took 3days to post from putrajaya to cheras.. never experienced before..

before that i did mention it is from putrajaya to cheras. and i only saw the "consignment..xxxxxx" shown in website, so curious bout it

cyberverse hardshell is freaking amazing! the transformation is appropriately complex, and he looks really good.. come on.. voyager this guy!

on a personal note, i LOVE this omega supreme. this version has G1 accurate right hands.



and those of you who complained of 3 steps transformation, where were you during the good old days

Not complaining la...just surprise that its so easy to transform. It should have a difficulty of 1
