Just imagine a road with 2 lanes on each side: if one lane is reserved for buses, and only one lane left for private vehicles, sure the drivers will make noise.
Unless we widen the road to add 1 lanes on each side. But if we do so, the cost will increase substantially.
And, if we were to tear down the buildings at Jalan Sultan to make way for BRT, Chinese sure will protest...
We might as well build LRT...
Trafice Jam mean car consume more petrol benefit to petrol company.
Got MRT, but buses also jam on the road, also late to wor, good for petrol company.
Not mistaken KL during 80's the road only 1 lane and bad condition still hv traffic jam.
After extend two land and flyover but car number increase - traffic problem still back to square one.
