You miss my point. What i meant was for example S2 if you starting from a low % like 40% it will have a higher chargerate. If you charge at 90% it will be a lower chargerate. S2 have 2 different charging level for AC charger which is 400 and 800 if i remember correctly. Which could explain the big difference in your charging rate. Dunno if Note 2 battery is running the same charging logic or not.
*
I don't think that Note 2 charging logic follows with S2 charging logic. I have tried charging from 15%, 50% and 90%. All will give 1800mA current_avg and current_max. biggrin.gif

Hi all.

I need so advice. My Note 2 just suffered a drop and now the screen is cracked.

I'm not sure if I can claim warranty to repair the crack. But if I want to repair the screen in KL, where can I get it done? And how much would it cost?

Appreciate the advice.
Thanks.
*
User negligence is not covered by warranty. the cost of repair is aroung RM700+ if I not mistaken. you can take to any Samsung service center to get it done.

How come I wanna flash cwm or twrp recovery via mobile odin then it stuck there and hang. Need to remove battery to boot up again.
*
For TWRP, you must download the filename that ends with extension .tar. Launch Mobile Odin and choose Open File and select the .tar file i.e openrecovery-twrp-2.4.1.0-n7100.img.tar and click on Flash then Mobile Odin will flash the recovery and and reboot to TWRP.

Yeah. Done that and still stuck at the mobile odin and hang. I downloaded from twrp page n7100 but still same. Mobile odin oso is latest version now.
Then tried to flash cwm also stuck at mobile odin doh.gif

I just flashed twrp when posted the steps and it was my first time and it went smooth. iI read at xda if you root your phone using chenglu file dated before Oct 2012, your recovery partition will be corrupted. so if you try to use mobile odin to flash custom recovery it will hang. there is a fix at xda.

I rooted mine using very first version of chenglu
And i have no problem flashing twrp
And I said before not recommended to use mobile odin
Flash the twrp zip from recovery mode
*
You had flashed using ODIN that is why no problem. I rooted my phone using ExynosAbuse that is why I got no problem using Mobile Odin to flash TWRP. It is not Mobile Odin's problem but chenglu's method. It created 1.5GB partition for recovery instead of 10GB. Like I said there is a fix at xda here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932327

Got a question to ask..is there any reason why charging notification lights may not be working?..recently while charging the LED (red) doesn't light up..kinda need it to make sure not to overcharge my phone..or uselessly drain my powerbank..other notification (sms/call/whassap) works fine though..

Phone is not rooted..notice the problem since last few days..tried googling but no definitive answer was found..I seriously don't want to factory reset... !-_-
*
You can do color tests on the LED by dialing *#0*# .

Thanks but already done it..works fine though..my suspicion of app causing the problem is justified I guess..when I charge while turning the phone off..the LED lights up..hurrmmm..

glad that you know the root cause... biggrin.gif

joytest I just try fast file explorer
what I want is transfer files between computer and phone
not share with other phone LOL
*
My favorite app to transfer file between phone and cpmputer is File Expert. There is a feature Share Your content via FTP. Once you oen the service your phone will become a ftp server. I always use Firefox plugin FireFTP to transfer files between phone and computer as it works on both Mac and PC, even linux as long as there is Firefox browser.... biggrin.gif
