Yup, iPhone 4S was once the best 8MP Shooters. While we won't be able to really test Xperia Z before its launch, Oppo Find 5 which has the same sensor, has proven that Exmor RS sensor is superior in low-light performance & dynamic range.

Of course sensor isn't everything. But my reply was pointed to the statement "Exmor is gimmick". Again, both Samsung & Sony (and many more OEMs) using the nearly-identical camera units (I believe the lenses are even Sony-manufactured). They perform quite similarly, with something that are too subjective and non-quantitable. Samsung tweaked the colour reproduction to have the images looking more vibrant. That's it.

Hmmm... will try to format mine via Note 2 tonight and see how it goes...

Dont worry , u can still get this butterfly without sacrificing your priority . Scrren wise , not so good but battery life beats Note2 anytime . Easily 5 days standby

personally i wont go for butterfly. Note 2 is awesome great and hardly beated by other similar smart phone. Butterfly...hehe i think i give it a miss. Wait for Note 3...jeng jeng jeng...

Hope they unveil S4 too & see how it measures up to Experia Z & Butterfly. This shud be fun. 

Yeah butterfly will wallop S3 but S4 is just around the corner, HTC really have bad timing. 

Yes i agree china phone is competing well in terms of hardware. Now they just need to somehow improve on after sales service and software and upgrades.

Yeah.. Less than 7inch should be ok.
But who knows, since Samsung is daring enough with Note series, 5-5.5inch might just be a new standard.

im reading it. It will use stock recovery but i would prefer custom ones as I can flash roms on the go rather than relying on odin each time when there's a cool rom produced

true. i agree on the durability of plastic. but i also think using polycarbonate like HTC or nokia Lumia is also considerable. Its durable, matter, and more scratch resistant.
