No reports of any wrongdoing by the club thus far. So, don't worry until there's something to be worried about.

We are not fixing. We are being fixed! So this is the difference.

Fixing = points deduction, relegation.

Being fixed (Victim) = add bonus points in EPL plus monetary compensation biggrin.gif

Top 4! HAHA
*
LOL keep dreaming dillon, keep dreaming. tongue.gif But yeah, we are not the ones fixing so it should be ok. That Debrecen GK must be in deep shit now. Already banned 2 years by UEFA once before, according to the reports anyway.

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Feb 5 2013, 02:08 PM)
I hate to say this but his time is done, Duke. Look at the way he communicate with his defenders. It's no longer there. I cant see the old Reina shouting and barking instructions, punching his fist in the air if someone is not listening carefully and almost let opponent score. I have not seen that for quite some time in fact. That burning enthusiasm and fiery desire to do well.

As much as I miss that Reina that ran 80 meters to hug David Ngog for scoring a brilliant goal against MU in the dying minutes when we won 2-0, which was quite some time ago, i am afraid that Reina is gone.

Now what's left is a person by the name of Jose Manuel Reina trying to abide his contract and pray for time to fly by.
*
Those things you've mentioned, haven't seen that in like 1 and a half years. His heart is just not 100% with Liverpool anymore. Let's just see how he performs in the next few games. Hopefully BR says a quiet word or two to him to turn his form around again. At least give his all until the end of the season and if he does decide to go, then let him go. No point keeping a GK who doesn't want to be there anymore.

What is this? The match between Liverpool and West Brom is 9th Feb or 11th Feb? WHy again different dates and timing being published from several websites? Frustrating.

http://www.itv.com/news/london/2012-06-18/...ures-2012-2013/
Premier League announced 9th Feb

But Liverpool Official Website stated 11th Feb. And the TV schedule has nothing on Liverpool on 9th and 11th. Really frustrating.
*
Always put your trust on Liverpool's official website and Premier League website. It's on the 11th. biggrin.gif

You watched that game? Wow, bro. Dont you ever sleep? hehehe. You are even more passionate than me in terms of football.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

As much as I love England team too, I will only wake up at 4am for Liverpool.

Plus England under Woy = boring boring boring. Yawn...
*
Seriously bro? You love the England team? Must have drowned your sorrow with beers every 2 years during June. tongue.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Like the fact that Glen Johnson had Neymar in his back pocket. Much maligned for his apparent defensive deficiencies, he's been a rock this season and is easily one of our most consistent performers. Thumbs up!
*
Totally agree. He's been solid all season. He still loses concentration on the defensive end at times though. But definitely improved from last season.

What do you mean buy 3 players? Give me that money and I along with all the bros here can retire and spend full time watching Liverpool in Anfield. Hehe. Dont waste that money la. Give it to us Lowyat kakis better than buying a Jack Wilshere.

We got Hendo, Shelvey, Suso and Allen for the future. Enough la. Who can tell Jack Wilshere wont be Jackshit and Joe Allen wont be Joe "Xavi" Allen and Hendo perhaps, Jordan "Gerrard" Henderson?

Bottomline is, if they intend to waste more money, better to give to us. At least we will do Pom Pom dance in Anfield and make pretty banners to support them. biggrin.gif
*
You go ahead with that ya? I'll go Anfield to watch the match. I'll try to make some photos of you dancing tongue.gif If the club has that kinda money though, I'd still want them to invest. At least a goalkeeper, and a central defender. Reina might be leaving, old boy Carra's 35 already and Coates is not giving enough competition to Agger and Skrtel so far.

Aih sad to hear that Carra has announced his retirement. Especially when he's played so well in the last 2 games. Will miss the determination and passion he always showed on the pitch. Hope he stays as a coach and bring up future Carras into the team

then maybe my ears got problem xD , i just think that no matter how much you love your team and stuff , you shouldn't be like booing every time anyone of the oppo players got the ball , like damn childish to me . haiz
*
It's nothing childish about this. They do that on a lot of Euro nights to rattle the opponents. They even do that to Utd sometimes in league games

Don't worry, Chelsea's 4th now. Benitez is our undercover agent. Arsenal, Everton and WBA can slip up anytime. Don't lose faith tongue.gif

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Mar 3 2013, 02:26 PM)
I loved the second goal most.

A side-footed pass from Gerrard to Coutinho that only looked easy to execute.  Brilliant movement and ball control by the Brazilian that defies his youth and inexperience in the PL. Great control by Suarez to get the pass and typical deft execution in shooting/placing the ball between the goalie and the post. Wonderful goal to watch!

Players like Suarez and Coutinho who make big impact in their first season in the PL underlines their real skills and class. Sturridge's performances rubbishes the excuse that players need time to adjust to playing in a new team.

Yes, some adjustments are certainly needed but ability and class will be readily evident.

Having said that, I think we are probably a little too late to make top 4 this season.  Of course continuing with such performances and results do no harm to team building and morale!
*
That 2nd goal was class. If you watch the replay, Suarez faked his first attempt - made Al-Habsi go down to his left early. Top class Suarez. thumbup.gif

Nah...they can't get past our legend, Carragher..Even if somehow they magically get past him, Pepe will easily save it.
Hope that Sturridge is fit for the match, and also hope that Suso get to start.

Btw, Lucas so far collected 5 yellow cards right? So does that mean he will miss the Spurs clash?
*
Suso?? He's been off the radar for so long. He's not even ahead of Henderson or Downing at the moment. Don't see it happening.

I'm more worried about how Spurs are gonna exploit the lack of pace of our defence. Gonna be tough stopping Bale, Lennon and Defoe next weekend.

we can also exploit the lack of pace of their defence...now that we got sturridge and coutinho  whistling.gif

Are Carra and Agger faster than Dawson and Vertonghen? tongue.gif Well, lots of battles in the matchup against Spurs anyway. Lucas+Gerrard vs Parker+Dembele, Johnson vs Bale, Enrique vs Lennon. If Johnson and Enrique can contain both of them then ok la, but if you watched Spurs yesterday, Bale played very centrally. Don't fancy Carra/Agger going 1 on 1 with him on the run.
