i think u guys can see my pc specs on my signature, Rig 1 (below)..
And i think u guys having some misunderstanding something here.. as i know, example i'm using streamyx package 66, so will be:

Download: 512kb
Upload: 384kb

If u r using package 88, should b Download = 1024kb, Upload = 384kb..
only download are different, Upload are still the same, so that the reason we can host a game to let more ppl join bcoz of the slow Upload.

Saw this in tmnet website, correct me if i'm wrong.. smile.gif

----------------------

Btw, should we hav to devide groups 1st or devide according qualifying time? and for Evo, wat u mean by mechanical failure = 50%?? there is no 50% in the failure, only can choose x1-x7. Percentage only applies to 'damage multiply'..

Please b concern...
Thanks.

huh....u all chg a lot of the race rules...dunno y u all dun wan stick wif x4.....invulnerability off is fine for me...damage multiply shd b 50% as we all mentioned b4....

anyway,i still prefer 40% race length wif x4 fuel.....4x fuel n 40% race length will b more challenging bcoz u MUST need 2 go to pit for at least 2times in the race...there is no way for u to finish the race in 1 pit stop....this will make the game strategy more fun...i think linkin, edison and edwin will sure agree wif me...

lets make it little bit tough....or else very fast sien de lo...

oh guys, pls post your pc spec and net connection so that we can decide who has the best facilities to be host.. at least we need 4 names for back up purposes.
This week we'll try out solution no. 2...

Race : Australia
Options : invulnerability off, fuel X3, 40% race length and 50 % mechanical failure
Practice cum Qualifying : 9.30 pm - 10.30 pm on Thursday
Race : 9.30 pm - 10.30 pm on Friday
Racing :

1. evoHahn
2.
3.
*
include me too..
and for fuel usage, hope remain as x4. smile.gif
Keep changing the fuels usage is not fair for others who seldom play and practice the games, since every one of us familar with x4 fuel usage, just keep it. icon_rolleyes.gif

yes. hamachi can accomodate 16 people, but due to our net connection, 1 host can only have 6 people. So with 8 people, how's the lag?

I think the idea of this weekend's race is to try out that "solution 2". Means no matter how many people is coming...we'll divide into 2 groups. Isn't it Hahn? Hmm, all of a sudden haHn sounds much better... tongue.gif

Count me in for tomorrow's practice and friday race.

Reminder. A dedicated server will not only cost you so much for every race, it would be there permanently for practice 24 hours a day/7 days a week with no interruption from outsiders if we need the track to ourselves.

I also opt for now that we split and test even if that's not my prefered race option. sad.gif

Does anyone know about Fragnetics? Found them through Google yesterday and they host games. I wrote them yesterday and they replied today. See below.

Dear Alain,

We have servers co-located at 2 data centres within Singapore. These are the
Pacific Internet Data Centre at the Science Park, and Qala Data Centre at
Jurong East. We have dedicated bandwidth at Qala and shared bandwidth at
Pacific Internet, so I'm sure that we can host your game server and offer
you a couple of options at different price points.

May I ask what's your rough budget for such a server and the technical
requirements for hosting such a game? Please feel free to contact me via e-mail, on MSN at chris_choo@hotmail.com or on my mobile phone at +65
94510067 so we can discuss further.

Thank you for your interest in our services.

Regards,
Christopher Choo

bro, I also prefer if we all just race together but if it means paying quite a sum, then I'm not in favor...
