Its about time the D7000 gets some upgrades ~

D600 is designed in such a way that it becomes as light as possible as a FX camera right?
The built quality I think will surely not be comparable to D700, D800 or above~
That said, I think the built of the D600 is very impressive already, living up to its name as a Nikon

The F3.5-5.6 aperture range will not be good enough for the D90 I think, especially so when in the dark... The kit lens (also F3.5-5.6) of the D90 doesn't perform that well in the dark, starting to show much noise at ISO3200

You are right, but coming from a D90, its a very huge improvement nevertheless haha
And its not like we have any alternatives since the others are so expensive (unless if can still find a D700), the release of a D600 makes owning a FX camera so less damaging to pockets, especially for hobbyists

Just bought one for my mum, used it for PSY's performance in Penang
Great performance for such a small and relatively cheap point-and-shoo, covering from very simple functions to even semi-pro functions

Nikon really knows how to market their stuffs, the newly released are almost always better than the previous ones regardless of the class

I'm guessing around RM4.5k-5k for the body only when it reaches Malaysian shores
Otherwise it will be too close to the price of the D600 already, which will hurt the sales of the D600

So those who are originally coveting a d600 can make their move now lo.. Either for a d600 or d800 lo
Personally I'd still go for the d600... The d800 is way overkill for me, or most 1st timers to fx lol
The oil issue will reduce after 3000 shots if I remembered.. So still okay I guess?
