During the event last week i tested both siggy 50mm 1.4 on canon and nikon (5dmk2 and D700). Not sure if its body related or what but it seems easier to snap focus on D700 compared to 5dmk2

QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 4 2013, 08:21 PM) No tripod, it was handheld. The shutter speed only 1/30 so not that slow and with flash. It got something to do with flash freeze the subject but just enough to capture movement....i think Heck i'd just say lucky shot jer la senang |

QUOTE(wke002 @ Mar 8 2013, 02:34 PM) Guys, need some opinion. currently have Nikon 35 and 50 mm G lens. My pictures mainly consists of tight space, i.e. inside house, not bungalow Tamron 17-50mm suits your need. 20mm on DX still not wide enough, on FX different storymy take are mainly childrens and was looking at selling both these underutilized lens to get Nikon 20mm. my question is what will I missed out from 35/50 if I acquired the 20mm or what would I gain with 20mm over 35/50mm other than wider. my engine, D7000. your personal opinion much appreciated. |

QUOTE(Pmc @ Mar 18 2013, 07:06 PM) haha not so syiok when you have to edit videos and photos for client on short notice QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 18 2013, 11:13 PM) refocus also 50/50 only, unless the sunlight is at my back instead of shooting against the sun then okay lar Can always use manual focus ler most of the time it locked on very fast, but sometime it cannot even catch focus when i tried to focus at the cheek or eyes |

QUOTE(Pmc @ Mar 18 2013, 11:29 PM) yalo.. how u all edit one ah.. i pp 20 pics also i feel like can't wait to stop editing d. LOL. then end up last few pic only correct exposure, add abit contrast, sharpen. thats all. haha The tip is to get it right the first time and deletes the bad one straight away. Nowdays rarely shoot raw ady, most of the time jpeg. For my work have to reduce the amount of post processing as much as possible because need to give the client photos in 48 hours or less at times.QUOTE(amduser @ Mar 19 2013, 12:37 AM) that bad? Just use the focus indicator on bottom left, once you see a dot means its on focus |
