QUOTE(nickvanhakim @ Apr 10 2013, 10:04 AM) Hi guys, i'm planning to buy DSLR camera and got a very good price for D3100. Should I go for the latest D3200 instead of D3100? tqvm I would pick the D3200, essentially a D3100 on steroids Newer and better~ This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Apr 10 2013, 10:19 AM |

Just curious, any sifus here with a heavy lens managed to take photos on a tripod with the camera (no battery grip
The screw connecting the tripod to the camera is not 100% tight :/ |

QUOTE(razuryza @ Apr 11 2013, 08:00 PM) It is a decent quality tripod I guess I'm having some problems securing the base plate onto the DSLR body tightly Or maybe I should insert the base plate the other way so the DSLR will not become loose as a result of gravity? |

QUOTE(Victor3010 @ Apr 11 2013, 09:41 PM) I am using the joby ballhead X (rated 5kg) and it is all good with my current setup, i used the normal joby ballhead before that and it sank slowly even after locking into position although it is rated 3kg load Thanks for the input bro I think its a mistake on my part, I doubt my tripod is so lousy haha, will try and find a solution~ On a side note, anyone here from Sunway University? Sorry for slowpoke, but I noticed there are a lot of auto-tuning shops around the area, and a great many modified expensive cars there, many of which are being driven around to test the tuning~ Good place for some shooting or panning shots, but quite hot la over there |

QUOTE(enJiNer @ Apr 17 2013, 10:37 AM) hi guys...looking for speedlight to replace my SB600... its sb700 is better than SB800...i dont want the bulky one as SB-9xx series... my office got sb-900...took it once and too heavy for me... i heard that Sb700 has lower GN power than SB600... but it's still good... ?? i dont know much about sb800... is sb700 worth it to replace my sb600?? thanks QUOTE(gerald7 @ Apr 17 2013, 10:57 AM) The answer is YES. For the short cut button/switches.. with commander capability! bestest bang for the buck! but the SB89X0 very Powderful la... my fav flash unit. +1, I think the SB700 is one of the most bang for buck Nikon flashes as well Love it~ |

QUOTE(Victor3010 @ Apr 17 2013, 09:27 PM) Hello everyone I think you will have to be on some building balcony or anything alike to take this kind of shots? Especially if you want to be able to take the photo at a perpendicular angle How do I take these kind of picture as shown in the attachment? Must I be on some steps to take it? Or just stand somewhere around the model's body and take that shot? *Photo from Jordan Voth Just a guess though *Come to think of it, I think that thing (that we use to swing from one end to the other) we have in playgrounds will do just fine This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Apr 17 2013, 09:53 PM |
