Hi all.got one question.my speaker got hissing sound after turning on engine.
I can reduce the hissing to lower or none by lowering gain at amp.

grounding (electrical supply not clean?) or too high amp gain.

give it a try on lowering your amp gain

and no, amp gain != quality.

to get best setting you have to establish the highest point without distortion and the lowest point on the gain knob... using a o-scope

then you can start to do your tuning from there...

Tumpang this post ..... Any one faced loud hissing sound at the lowest point of the gain ? Then when you gradually increase the gain the hissing sound faded at the middle of the gain .... Then when after the mid section of the gain the hissing sound comes back

The hissing you get from the tweeters is noise.
This noise is picked up by the RCA and further amplified at the amp, made worse by the higher than required amp input gain. To solve your problem, you have to source a HU with high preout voltage, enabling you to reduce your amp gain to eliminate your noise problem.
