Hi everyone.

Does anyone know how to plug off the fiber cable from alcatel lucent modem?
I want to switch the modem position but dont know how to plug off the fiber cable on the back modem.
Seems cant find any guide on internet.

Any expert can help me?
*
Easy but might be scary if first time. Slide the cover out from the modem (slide back) , then u'll see the cable
Pull the cable cover clip then only pull cable

Unifi is running fast on PC (with LAN cable connected) but the Wifi speed is really slow. At times 0mbps upload and download speed.

Am using the L7 network router provided by TM.
*

TQ bro, very very easy to setup right?  biggrin.gif

Very easy , just either buy one with pre-install unifi firmware or dl from tplink website .
Then all u need is follow the setup wizard . And no to forget the pppoe password

It's already with the unifi firmware but the unifi pppoe login from tm i have yet to confirm. Other than that is the tp link compatible with the alcatel uni modem. rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

can anyone brief me on the drilling process on landed property

signed up for VIP5 but mum end up bei syok after need some drilling ...

if there anyway to avoid drilling ? please advise
*
Depends on where u wan it . If the room is beside instead of the middle room then only drill ome wall a hole about 20 cent size just to pass the fibre cable and after that they will patch it up .
If not u call them hide the cable but will need to pay for the job .

usually the fibre at the pole in front or at the back of the house?

I'm thinking of setting the modem and etc inside my bedroom ..which is 1st room if pulling the cables into the room from the front or last room if pulling from the back  hmm.gif

i hope their patch work wont be too hideous and my mum will start to complain again ...

im oso wondering if I can ask them to skip the set up for hypptv since I wont be using it
*
Well depends where your phone pole with the white box is usually its at the back.
let them set it up why no , it needs to put in login and password for the hypptv . Just provide a tv temporary at the place u wan to setup just for them the do their job . Who knows later u need to used it

My DECT phone that came with UNIFI is missing - don't know where the kinds at home placed it.

Any idea on how much for replacement?setting required is it complicated?
*
is it on/working while its missing or missing without battery ?
if still on and working press the button on the deck of the phone holder , then follow the sound where u can find it .
Think there's on replacement for the phone only , might as well get the whole set smile.gif
