QUOTE(djhenry91 @ Jun 19 2013, 07:54 PM) i jus call them beside the bill amount confuse me.. Yeah, the CS asked if I received the SMS regarding the upgrade promo.. I didn't.. I just called to check if I can renew my contract and get the RM20 discount. The CS told me since I'm already using VIP20, I can't opt to upgrade anymore.. unfortunately, I can't get the discount nor can I renew my contract. Can't terminate and re-apply also.. Unless I have another VIP5/VIP10 package that I want to upgrade.. very lousy promo.. I've been using VIP20 for almost 3 years, still nothing..i ask about the upgrade package is there any promotion.. UNIFI CS tell me tht those are selected customers..if can try go TM Point ask about tht information.. |

The funny thing is.. people upgrade and get discounts.. but others like me have been using VIP20 are not entitled to the discount. Doesn't seem fair TM..

The installation is like: Line in > BTU > Wireless Router > Set top box > TV
So, it is a wired connection from the BTU to the set top box, which in turn, needs to be connected to your TV via HDMI. You can play around with options like homeplug to ease your cable troubles.. As for the phone, it is connected directly to the BTU as well. |

QUOTE(darthbii @ Jun 24 2013, 09:52 AM) ok thanks. so basically its my current network name and password am i right? im now facing this account settings area, what details do i need to enter? is it the ppoe name and password? Unfortunately, I've yet to tinker with an ASUS router Because the "Internet Setup" might also relate to your Unifi's Username & Password.. If you're setting up SSID, it would normally fall under "Router Settings" category.. that's my experience, not sure how ASUS does it. Anyway, please refer to KLSeet's post on how to setup the RT-N16 flashed to AsusWRT. They are quite similar.. you can use it as the basis to setup your router: http://klseet.com/index.php/asus/asus-rt-n...rt-new-ui-setup This post has been edited by mel5582: Jun 24 2013, 01:27 PM |

According to TM, Air Itam area supposed to have Unifi by year end or beginning of 2014. Don't know how true is that though.
