Few month back ,i have bought 1 LCD TV from electrical shop at RM1700 ,after 2 -3 month ,the TV spoiled ,color fading and got double shadow
then i report to electrical shop and that shop help me report to toshiba ,after few day ,the toshiba staff come my house snap photo and write a report and told me ,they will submit this to thier company and they will come repair it asap
Then keep waiting and waiting ,1 month gone (my astro bill cost rm160 ALSO gone) ,i call directly to toshiba this times and the staff say will help me make another report again
after few day ,another staff coming and told us ,the part to repair this TV need to order from overseas , ok lo ,another 1 week pass ,i call them again ,they told me the part still not yet arrived and they offer me to replace my faulty TV with another new TV ,i checked with shop outside and that TV cost RM1300-1400 (i lose RM300 from my original price ) ,then NVM ,i also agree with it coz i m worrying that i have to wait another month
next day . i call again to check status ,WTF ,the staff told me that my report number is not exist in their system (say someone already cancel the report )then after few minute ,told me they have found back and promise me will deliver new TV to me asap
until YTD ,i call again ,i ask them why still not yet deliver new TV to me ,guess what happen ,they told me ,my TV model is last year old model and not worth so much and in order for toshiba replace new TV for me ,i have to pay extra RM200 ,i was like WTF ,i keep argue with them ,but their staff keep saying that my TV is old model and i should accept this and appreciate what toshiba gave me .
WTH , u offer me 1300-1400 TV and i have already lose RM300 and also my astro bill cost RM160 and i still have to pay extra RM200 for it ? then what is the purpose of toshiba offering 2 years manufacturing warranty and also 1 years insurance ? what if everytime i send warranty ,u also ask me to pay RM200 extra to get another new TV ,then how many RM200 i should pay .
just to share with everyone my bad experience with toshiba malaysia ,pls think twice before buying thier product ,you will regret kao kao
ps- last time my sony TV warranty claiming is extremely good ,today complain ,2moro lorry come take my TV ,the 1-2 day later they will send back my TV to me
