Thx anyways..Just need u to check on the avg car renting prices when ur free, so tat i can roughly noe how to bargain with them =) I've called the few numbers posted by fellow members, and the prices are pretty much the same. Kancil is RM60 iswara rm70 wira rm80.

normal price during school holiday. i'll check if i can get cheper then i let u know la. Do you wnt TOYOTA UNSER ?? just top up a bit more.. hehe

Do you have connection for toyota unser? 7 of us will be going on 17th till 19th. ETA in langkawi on 17th is 8am while ETD on 19th is around 2 pm. How much can i get the cheapest there? It will be good if you could get me some of the car rental numbers. Thanks. If cannot, nvm la.

guys, izzit true that in langkawi, taxi is charge by person head which is rm1? n should i go for island hoping? anybody got the contact price etc?

i think u can get that price. average price for kacvcil during school holiday is RM60. U hav contacted the agent i think..

Toyota Unser normal price during school holiday = RM2** per day
my price = RM1** per day

never heard of that.. its the same in KL, Per cab.
You should go for island hoping. It's very interesting. Eagle feeding, Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Beras Basah or Pulau Singa.. 4-5 interesting places to go. if i not mistaken, RM30 per person.

Toyota Unser rental one day need 200++ ?? I heard from other people only for RM120

i rented an auto wira for rm70 recently at langkawi.
the price you stated should be for manual models.
the guy's starting price was rm100 for 2 days use for iswara manual.

in september...consider non peak season, i rented a wira (auto) for RM 120 for 2days......condition acceptable, not choosing kancil or iswara coz need rm50 per day leh........and i rent it at the airport

but the time i go there will be peak season ady>< doubt that wont hav chance to get cheap kancil /heh

i'm going to langkawi this weekend with a few friends around 5 people....go on saturday n come bek penang on sun..

plan to do island hoping....any suggestion or guides...? i mean where to find those boats..?

mean while on sun, we might go for cable car and underwater world...

and er...we hope to find affordable accommodation....budget kind(in town)....any idea...?

Edit: Actually is it cheaper if we rent a van taen unser? If that is a case, we better rent a van to use or maybe 2 cars if it is cheaper. 7 of us going

but the island is pretty small so no need to fly.

island hoping wil go to 3 places, beras basah island, dayang bunting island and eagle seeing. price normally rm 35. twice a day, 9.30 am and 2.30 pm.
