Here's what I understand, when car engine is new, there might be some minor metal debris produce by new piston and engine wall. Some said from manufacturing process. That is why avoid revving high RPM before the first service. And engine oil need to be changed at 1000KM which is barely used. I might be wrong. So go do some digging.

what kind of petrol u pour in????i'm using petron at the moment. rm70 definitely 400++km. After 2 to 3 fill ins, i'll change to BHP. to compare which one better. previous drive vw polo 1.2 TSI. fill petron and bhp. both good. but feel with petronas feel under power. if feel shell mileage cannot go that far. petron and bhp can get both. performance and mileage. go give it a try...

I just drove my car from Penang to PJ today. Been worry whether the long distance drive is good for the car or not. I was advised not to exceed 90 kmh. i have tried to follow that but sometimes still hit 100 kmh. The ODO is at around 600km now.
Read online article about engine break-in but not quite understand what it is.....
