QUOTE(civicspoon @ Feb 5 2013, 09:28 AM) D.O.B : October 2012 How about the suspension? dont feel bouncy? Feel like car 'goyang-goyang' follow the road surface?D.O.A : Mid January 2013 Place : Kah Bintang Hyundai Elantra 1.8 2013 creamy white Love the car from day 1. Current mileage 300km. I went to Avantegarde to install rear light. Ah Bao said cannot be done as my car is 2013 spec. what ??????. He said the bulp is already there. but when i on the light, the middle rear light never came up. then i remember i read in ver 7 the difference between 2012 spec & 2013 spec. REAR FOG LIGHT!!!!!!!!! this really irritates me because to on the light there is another switch.(its a fog light). to me its suppose to be rear light.fine. nevermind the extra switch for me to on it. but what makes me more frustrated the foglight is more bright then the rear light. can u imagine that? so how to repair this?how to make one switch on all rear light AND most important that bulp need to change to the same bulp as other rear light. do you know where i can do this? Ah Bao can't do it. need help here. others are fine. auto rain sensor not to its par. a few drops of rain still it can not detect. need to do it manually. so no auto for me. at this moment my average fuel consumption was down from 12.8 l/km to 9.8 l/km this morning(after 300km run in) oh I also bought the Potent Booster. still at normal and eco mode. after 1st service will go for race mode! previous i own a honda civic 99 B18C enjin. the difference???? 1. more spacious 2. sun roof 3. automatic tranny(no more pain for my left leg) 4. comfort 5. cold acc my friends compliment the car is spacious AND they love the sunroof. this 2 hard to get from old or new cars. so thats it. hope you could help my dilemma for rear light for 2013 spec. I bet the others will have the same feeling "disappointed". This post has been edited by kokak: Feb 5 2013, 07:23 PM |

QUOTE(stevenycs @ Feb 5 2013, 10:35 PM) The car is design to be for comfort so the suspension is very soft. Oic... I was thinking the bar is for anti-roll only. Glad to hear it also can eliminate the bouncy feel. I must get one before CNY. Thanks broooo Most of us owners opted to install Ultra Racing Anti-Roll bar to eliminate this issue |

QUOTE(civicspoon @ Feb 11 2013, 03:36 PM) I have a different mindset. if we only had this problem, the SC cannot just say it is normal. So we can claim warranty. This post has been edited by kokak: Feb 11 2013, 04:01 PM |

QUOTE(666devil @ Feb 18 2013, 10:16 AM) Yup bad radio reception. Antenna on back wind screen. 1.6 or 1.8 should not matter... Other car with printed antenna no such issue. Note that changing hud will not fix the issue. My d.i.y to improve fm radio reception.Design issue I guess? Unplug am antenna socket, use jumper to connect with fm. ![]() This post has been edited by kokak: Feb 18 2013, 06:51 PM |

QUOTE(Oniea @ Apr 4 2013, 07:54 AM) Hi all, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xsEpwUPCV8Just got my 1.8 HE yesterday. I noticed there's a weird sound coming from engine or aircond when accelerate from low gear. It sounds like an aircraft turbine sound when trying to take off. Anyone experience this before? Is it normal? Thx in adv. Is noise same as yours? If so, you better claim to SC. Mine after changed compressor become OK. No more annoying noise. QUOTE(jusjus88 @ Aug 5 2013, 11:52 PM) Its not working. Anyone can D.I.Y solve the noise..? I've checked the manual and it's says.. "If the brake pedal is repeatedly depressed and released with the shift lever in the P (Park) position, a chattering noise near the shift lever may be heard. This is a normal condition" No mention shift lever in N or D position. Why more people haven't complained? This post has been edited by kokak: Aug 6 2013, 05:39 AM |
