So imho, changing to Michelin XM2 would be downgrade, rather than upgrade, as XM2 is categorized as entry @ value tyre only
If upgrade, perhaps should consider GY Efficient Grip or Michelin Primacy LC to upgrade in comfort & quiteness
If others from similar category, perhaps can consider Yokohama Advan DB, Bridgestone Turanza GR-90 or Toyo Proxes C1S
