I'd just keep using the GY for a few years, cuz they're still new anyway and on a new car some more.

I don't know why... my XM2 is not any quieter...
Not sure if other's feel it. I am already thinking to change to PS3 (which I know it's worse) or Premacy |

Pilot range handling better.
Keep those goodyear for 1-2 years la. Unless u can find a good trade in option. I'd save the environmnt and use those for a couple of years |

QUOTE(alvin ong @ Jan 30 2013, 05:03 PM) My new car comes with Goodyear excellence tires that is made in Japan. Since TS mentioned upgrade, comfort & quiteness, from the GY site, Excellence is categorized as luxury @ premium tyreshould i upgrade to Michelin xm2? my main priority is comfort and quietness. should i keep the Goodyear or upgrade to Michelin xm2? Thanks in advance. So imho, changing to Michelin XM2 would be downgrade, rather than upgrade, as XM2 is categorized as entry @ value tyre only If upgrade, perhaps should consider GY Efficient Grip or Michelin Primacy LC to upgrade in comfort & quiteness If others from similar category, perhaps can consider Yokohama Advan DB, Bridgestone Turanza GR-90 or Toyo Proxes C1S This post has been edited by malowar: Jan 31 2013, 11:11 PM |

Unless you're changing to bigger sport rims, just keep the Goodyear.

QUOTE(guanteik @ Jan 31 2013, 01:27 PM) I don't know why... my XM2 is not any quieter... xm2 is overrated as hell for nvh.Not sure if other's feel it. I am already thinking to change to PS3 (which I know it's worse) or Premacy think about this: it supposedly last long, which means harder compound hard compound and low nvh (quiet) ? welp! |

Personally I was the user for primacy LC for 3 years. The nvh was good up to 20k only and/or 2 years. After that it is as noisy as any other tyres out there. FYI

I am using XM2, indeed the handling on dry and wet improved. But I dont see any different for the quietness. Unless you upgrading your tires, else just stick back where you are. Save the $ for bodykit better
