QUOTE(chokia @ Jan 29 2013, 10:04 AM) If there is LTE icon on the top bar then this update is significant. I think the LTE icon comes from "Update Carrier Settings" if I m not wrong. which will be delivered automatically once the telcos are ready to support the phone. In order for telco's to support LTE on Iphone 5, they must be using a Bands that supports 2100Mhz and below.Unfortunately nothing...nothing At this moment, Govt only awarded the 2,600Mhz spectrum Most of us are hoping this update to improve the battery life instead of the LTE support. |

Battery life still too early to tell. I believe most of us upgraded to 6.1 when our battery was not full. Let the current battery run down and do a full recharge. Then start monitoring from there.

Slightly improvement on the Maps. But wifi still not so reliable. Sometimes ok, sometimes bad. My Ipad4 and Ipod Touch on the same router have no problem at all with wifi. I think IP5 got hardware problem on wifi. Remove the casing also no difference.
