It was called kura kura matahari

Kura-kura Duri atau disebut juga Kura-kura Matahari (Heosemys spinosa) adalah salah satu reptil langka Indonesia. Kura-kura dari famili Geoemydidae ini menyandang status Endangered (Terancam) dalam Daftar Merah IUCN. Populasi Kura-kura Duri (Kura-kura Matahari) di habitat aslinya semakin berkurang. Namun sebaliknya malah marak dipelihara oleh penghobi reptil.

Nama latin hewan yang dikenal sebagai Kura-kura Duri ini adalah Heosemys spinosa (Gray, 1831). Mempunyai nama sinonim Emys spinosa Duméril & Bibron, 1835 dan Geoemyda spinosa Gray, 1873. Dalam bahasa Inggris dikenal dengan beberapa nama seperti Spiny Terrapin, Spiny Turtle, Cogwheel Turtle, dan Sunburst Turtle.

Penyebutan nama hewan langka ini didasarkan pada ciri khas pada tepi karapasnya yang unik. Kura-kura Duri atau Matahari ini memiliki keping marginal (keping paling tepi karapas) yang bergerigi atau meruncing membentuk duri-duri. Meskipun duri-duri ini akan semakin menghilang seiring dengan usianya yang semakin dewasa. Ciri-ciri lainnya dari Kura-kura Berduri atau Kura-kura Matahari (Heosemys spinosa) adalah terdapatnya ‘keel’ (lunas) yang tajam di bagian tengah karapas (keping vertebral). Lunas juga kadang tumbuh di antara keping marginal dan keping vertebral.

How about red foot? How much we can get at pm pet shop.
Our east Malaysia pet shop are selling at 700 for small red foot

Just a rough guide to pricing

Indian star @ 3" standard  - Rm 350-500
Burmese star @ hatchlings Rm 1500-2000
Red foot Rm 400-800
Chery head about same as red foot but seldom offered
Asian leaf can be as cheap as RM 5 in local tamu

After study for the past few days I found land tortoise are not suitable for me as all land tortoise can grew quite big and i t will not fit in my aquarium
