the rear window for CRZ retails at USD600, so maybe you can make a rough estimate from there.
http://www.hondapartsnow.com/body_air_cond...windshield.html not sure if this includes the heating elements for the demister |

QUOTE(astimak @ Mar 28 2013, 01:45 AM) Yup, M'sia spec is always lower than others. Well, at least the facelift that you are gonna receive soon is a bit better which includes auto headlights , HID and auto wiper That's nothing much we can do except you r willing to pay the extra or sacrifices the warranty. Any way... After long waited...finally I'll be getting my Z tmr. Cheers!! QUOTE(Nitrous @ Mar 28 2013, 10:34 AM) It usually never reaches full. Only on rare circumstances such as prolonged downhill or coasting will the battery charges fully. I have charged it full before, but only on very few occasions, so don't worry about it. I thought even the battery is charged full, the ECU or Honda have programmed the battery to purposely stop the charging once it hits about 80 percent of full capacity. Similarly, the battery will say it's empty when it falls to about 20 percent? So I guess this shouldn't affect the battery or damage the battery even u charge fully or empty the battery.Anyway like all batteries, it is not recommended to fully charge the batteries all the time as it will damage the batteries in the long term. Here's an article that mention about it http://www.csmonitor.com/Innovation/2012/0...-batteries-last QUOTE So why are hybrid batteries sprightly after a decade, while laptop batteries start wheezing within just a few years? The chemistry is different – but in some ways, humans are to blame. "Generally, when you're charging your device battery, you're charging it to 100 percent," says Mr. Berman, "and you're depleting it to zero percent. Right? That is the worst thing you can do for the longevity of the battery." Hybrids come with software that purposely stops the battery from charging once it hits about 80 percent of full capacity. Similarly, the battery will say it's empty when it falls to about 20 percent. The exact numbers are company secrets, but the point remains: By undertaxing their batteries, hybrids ensure longer life spans. (Some gadget gurus suggest a stricter "40/80" rule for laptops and phones. Of course, that limits the usefulness of a single charge in exchange for long-term gains.) Is it ok to rev the car >4,000 rpm that's less than 1k mileage?
Does this still apply to new cars and especially hybrids? |

Any cr-z new owners have a strong smell like a dead rat (bangkai smell) coming from the front engine compartment? I noticed suddenly today had this smell. Thought i stepped on something bad but finally pinpointed it to come from under the hood. Not sure if its the smell of something burning.. hmm..

Suppose whats the reason not to rev it high below 1000rpm? Any advice?;-)Does this still apply to new cars and especially hybrids? This post has been edited by Tavia88: Mar 29 2013, 09:08 AM |
