QUOTE(bmbk @ Mar 26 2006, 07:13 PM) My KVR DDR400 doing 500 Mhz flawlessly Too good for a value ram. Based on Samsung UCCC memory, I think can go higher, have to do testing some more i tought KVR DDR400 with hynix bt-d43 also can do 500 flawlessly....

@zahri BT/DT-D43s are good overclockers, not sure about the cheaper CTP-D43s though. As for burn in, Mod soulfly told me that Winbond chips respond well after burn in, but to burn in TCCDs and value chips might risk frying them @bmbk 2.85V and your rams are stable? If I pump 2.85V for my UCCC, in less than 30 seconds and I'll get about well ... ... Lots of errors in Memtest-86. This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 27 2006, 03:50 PM

Did you install it along with other rams? And try to use lower voltage, mine can't prime stable at 2.75V but at 2.65V ... QUOTE(newbieockids @ Mar 27 2006, 06:15 PM) hey ur ram using BP pcb if im not mistaken rite?.. it should be go a little higher.. tweak more dude.. Yeah, it's BP PCB. My motherboard doesn't allow as much tweaking as DFI boards, so I guess it'll be a little harder. Will try upping some MHz tonight, and then more priming

QUOTE(nelza_ax @ Mar 27 2006, 07:28 PM) hey..im using same as urs..bought from cyclone rite? Correct, I bought mine from Cyclone87. However, you and mine might differ a bit. The pair I got are Apacer retail units while yours was from a Dell system, right? With copper heatspreader if I remember correctly. I guess I'll just stick with my current settings, rock solid state This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 30 2006, 12:23 PM

The RM300 ones he did state can do 240MHz ~ 250MHz depending on your proc and board. I know he's selling 3 pairs. 2 pairs Apacer and another pair from Dell with copper heatspreader. Look at all my stars!!

UCCC shud be able to go higher. DT-D43's I had 3 sets, all did 260 minimum... and above. 3-3-3-7 timings. Pretty easy.

well, value rams arent guaranteed to go high speeds.. coz value rams are chipped with lower grade ic's compared to performance part.. thats why theres value n performance in the market.. getting high speed on value, regardless of how high, is definately a bonus.. while those who fork more money on higher binned ram speed are guaranteed to run at higher rated speed [rma if it doesnt make it]
