1) Check whether brake fluid sensor got connect.if not connect, brake warning will lite anytime 2) As coolkwc suggested, the pintu tandas type of spring switch can be adjust 3) Which is my case, hub brake released too much. The cable too loose touches the switch. I need to adjust the cable instead of the swis tandas |

In the afternoon, if u release your handbrake fully, if you push it further down with your hand, will the light goes off? If yes, same case like mine. Need to adjust brake cable by taking off the center console. Be remind after adjust brake cable, u may need to retune your rear drum brake, or it could be too loose. Later cum back find your car sudah masok longkang |

Take a look at the right piece of the brake shoe, almost gone. The brake cylinder expanded but wouldn't retrieve. Rear left(passenger side) brake shoe like NEW because cylinder jammed and UNABLE to expand at all. Both side KO.
![]() The amount of brakedust got trapped in the brake hub, when your brake cylinder expanded, where does the dust go? The answer is stuck in your brake cylinder ![]() New brake cylinder, claimed to be imported from JAPORN. ![]() ![]() Semi metallic brake shoe, made in 山东, and claimed to be TUV certified ![]() ![]() Certainly a crap car This post has been edited by davidke20: Jan 31 2013, 10:03 PM |

QUOTE(blau-saga @ Jan 31 2013, 10:06 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « how does the drum shoe and cylinder compared to bosch cylinder and bendix drum shoe? this one: bosch brake pump bendix drum shoe Brake pump, I've changed both BOSCH pumps on Shawie few months ago. So, they're supposed to work like STOCK, may be rosak in a year or 2. Now, my BLM changed to some other chapalang brand that cost almost 1/2 of BOSCH price, if this set last me more than 2 years I'm happy liao |

QUOTE(blau-saga @ Jan 31 2013, 10:44 PM) so fast u drive hoh.. testing new brakes Usually upah unker style drib 60 at Jln Banting Klang geh, if you try that road before you'll know why as long as same with stock ok la, always good if it's better than stock, price wise does it reach 100? might as well test in wet? change to braided steel hose lar i might want to change the pump and brake shoes too cause last time check 1 side jammed now that there's no more tak tak sound, i also don't know still jammed or not, last checked august but bosch one is should be good right? As for steel braided hose, that 1 is also important but its at the very bottom of the mod list. People don't even bother to change brake fluid but everyday come tell me their brake hose so shinny lar, got red color Bamboo caliper cover lar..... ![]() ![]() You go ask C2KBAS2005 got need the steel braided hose mou? |

QUOTE(blau-saga @ Jan 31 2013, 11:29 PM) what was the other one? I know the braided hose served its purpose, I'm just saying its not the priority in my mod list sure got feeling of improvement if driven hard enough. normal city driving, i don't think so. i did drove fast few times, but rear end really bother me, feels unsafe.. or mybe because i put heavy soundproof on hood |
