Hehe, it's fun now that there are a lot of stuff to look out for.

I believe they also added random police car crashes that can spawn the MP5K on top of random heli crashes. This I think is their approach to add more random loot spawns rather than the usual military buildings.

There is also now Experimental SG servers. So this is fantastic news for us. No more dicking around in Aus servers that are lagging when playing in Exp.

But unfortunately, the amount of SG stable servers have been reduced significantly. I think only 1 SG servers still remain, they other 2 are the TH servers. The previous SG servers under Gameserver admin is all gone.

Yeah, being upgraded part by part. Hopefully for the better.

Still Alpha and still get my blood pumping.

Met 1 server hopper earlier, thought wanna shoot him but then just said hello, he had no gun on him. He was like super thankful. SG or MY guy from the way he speaks.

Nah more people doesn't mean faster. But they are adding more people according to Rocket, just that it takes time to get the new people into doing the things they need.

Already Nav mesh is being handled by one of the recently acquired studio for DayZ. New engine is also being worked on by another group. I think once they hit their targets we can see quite big updates over time.

Found all the parts for an AKM + drum mag. So satisfying.

Hello, yeah a few of us still play occasionally. I play often enough.

Today got latest patch to stable. Expect quite a few new stuff including;

Basic ragdoll physics
Tents
Re-spawning loot
New guns
New clothes
Bandana face mask
etc.

I think the video is still in this thread for the exploding station one. hahahaha

Nowadays a lot of stuff added. I think one of the core missing stuff is vehicles.

Already implemented tents for persistent storage and re-spawning loot in the latest update.

Ahh yes, persistent storage disabled for now.

But with respawning loot, going into airfields with open doors will still get loot.

Based on global loot on the server. A little bit broken and can be exploited I think. I believe weapon spawns are limited by global economy but not bullets or other military gear.

Based on picking up loot on one building will spawn loot in another building. Not sure if they fixed the timing but it was broken in Exp due to persistent items. Which is the reason why it is disabled in Stable.

Previously in EXP, unpopular loot will stay in server due to persistency and loot respawn keeps adding items to the building until it's full of trash. Since the building like a shed can only spawn a certain amount of items from the loot table, the same loot keep getting spawn in the same shed as you loot other buildings in the same area. And the fact that they did not restart the EXP servers, the amount of loot re-spawn + persistent loot meant a lot of building were basically flooded with useless crap.

I think they will add sort of timer or increase the grid size where the loot re-spawn works. Too small a grid can quickly fill up a small town over and over if you pick 2 separate buildings in a small town. But a bigger grid can prevent that and you can actually empty a town loot until the timer for re-spawn kicks in.

So far in Stable, I haven't really looted much since already geared but I have been to a few servers where military buildings were already looted (doors open) but still can find like AKM mags, bullets, vest which were not taken. I assumed it all re-spawned when other buildings were looted.

Hotzone is definitely the NWAF now since it's closer to the eastern spawn.

Mosin and SKS is common now, and surprisingly LRS is umm... uncommon? I always find them but decided not to loot.

Also, I heard M4 is rarer now? I killed a dude but I didn't loot the M4 lol.

Yeah, M4 and parts only spawns in heli crashes now. So by right it should be very rare. Grenades and flashbang is also suppose to be in heli crashes only.

Yes, you need to eat and drink until you have Energized and Hydrated status on your character. There are two tiers of Energized and Hydrated, the 2nd and higher tier allows you to heal up and then when fully healed, will show a status of Healthy.

Typically you need to eat about 6-10 cans of food and lots of water to get the healthy status.

It's an AKM with almost all the accessories available for it. Lost it in battle already. Was pretty happy when I found all the parts for it.

With the PSO scope, you can snipe I suppose, but not as accurate or far as the Mosin with a Long range scope.

Oh shoes degrade now? But I believe there is no effect of not wearing shoes.

Latest update seems like more and more stuff added.

I think item degradation is coming as well. So they removed the spoiled food spawns but then any fresh food you pick now can spoil over the course of time.

Played a few hours past 2 days, just to get a feel of the new updates. Haven't been playing much at all since 0.45 update.

But I keep getting irritated by the stuttering freezes in cities. Not much in forest areas, but very often in city area. Sometimes stopped completely with 0 FPS and takes about 20-30 seconds to recover.

Yeah I still play solo. Beta won't be in until next year at least.

But game is progressing nicely now with more things added. Expected to see the first vehicle by end of this year.

Currently, for me the most irritating is the constant FPS drops to 0 and freezes your screen for a good 15-30 seconds. Not sure if it is a memory leak problem or just some sort of optimisation gone wrong feature which was introduced. Really dangerous because can easily get killed due to zombie attacks.

Played a few hours. Can even lock doors now. But not many persistent servers in SEA. UUsed to have a MY persistent server but dissapeared in latest update.
