GPS/LCD touch screen for 408T?

Guys, I just booked a 408T. According to SA, I can get a Peugeot OEM touch screen with reverse cam from their panel workshops. Anyone can tell me what is e specs and how much will this cost?

Anyone has experience using this?

i got my 408T for just 3 days now. Total 150km, FC like 13.5L/100km, average 21km/h. Most of the time stuck in jam. Is the FC too high?

Thanks for the feedback. 10k is a long way to go.....anyway, I am trying to gauge if other owners have the same FC. for the first few thousand KM. The driving condition should be quite similar for many people, morning and evening going through KL jam to work and back. I guess 70% of the time we can't really step on it, as the distance to the car in front during jam doesn't allow that. Usually I feel that the engine drags 1st and 2nd gears longer, then brake. Then the the same cycle again.

my SA told me that there is a panel workshop doing this, OEM for Peugeot. Only OEM will not void warranty. The sales girl quoted me RM5.8K Forget it.

I have the same experience with my 408T. The fan still runs even after engine turned off, for a while. I am also wondering if this is normal.

Other makes (eg japanese cars) have silent engine/acond.

i was made to understand that 5 years parts + labor will cost more than RM8k, so I took the free 5 years service. my SA gave me a bit more rebate tho

I think you don't get the free 5 years maintenance (parts+labor) due to 12k discount? standard rebate is rm3k, and another rm8k if you forgo the free 5 years maintenance.

I searched for your post and got it. thanks. On the other hand, this might drain battery, but I guess it's inevitable.

How about guide me home and auto headlights? These might drain battery as well, but do you guys use them?

Ppl, what's the optimum tyre pressure for 408T so that the tyre lasts longer?

I heard nasim is making 408 more affordable because they want to hv the volume. I guess they committed certain numbers in order to secure ckd contract?

I got my 408T almost 1 mth now. I notice that all 4 tyres lose pressure quite quickly, I.e. last night I pumped 220kpa, tonight check only left 205kpa, yes all 4 tyres. However the week before the rate was -20kpa each tyre in 1 week. I'm monitoring them more closely now.

These tyres were manufactured 41 week of 2012, which I think quite old as I just got my car for less than 1 mth ago.

Any advise what I should do? Do you think the SC will replace my tyres?

I hv tried with 250 kpa last night, tonight lost 20kpa each tyre.

Which SC is best dealing with tyres?

Hi ppl,

I just noticed 2 more problems:
1. Fuel smell outside car in the morning right after starting engine
2. When driving, Radio volume goes up louder by itself. It's more noticeable when playing via USB drive.

Any ideas:experience?

Hi ghost007, thanks for the tips.

I pressed the music button and I see musical ambience menu. I set it to none, see if this works. Thre is no "loudness correction", tho.
