You should see them washing under the lights.. the smallest scratch or imperfection will be detected.. my car, the headlamp have scratches inside, they saw when doing the cleaning.. so Mr. Choong will inform you where the imperfection is..

Jiunkei, I just got the same one like yours. and this one. Feel like the remote is too fat for the leather ones.

The one I had is nicely fitted.. leather more elegant.. haha whistling.gif
Btw, wanna check with you all, the wind screen washer water, will yours evaporate very fast? Means the tank just becomes emptied in a week to two? Even without using?

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Apr 12 2013, 08:29 AM)
Not so sure, I use that quite frequent, as I am quite particular on the virtual, cleaning of the wind screen. I topup everyweek during car wash.
*
Mine will tend to evaporate, a night before fill full, after a day of driving (without) using the washer, about 2cm gone.. besides, the dispenser is quite small and it is very hot inside..

Besides that, another question, anyone self-change your engine oil at 5k interval? How bout first 1k, any change it after 1k? Coz I'm not sure whether our new engine will have those iron fillings or iron dust..

Ours is 2900, quoted by glenmarie.. coz I insured my windscreen, so they have to calculate the cost and 15% from there

Brake dust is due to poor local quality brake pads. It's not harmful to your hands when you wash your car.
FC may improve after 10k service, but it really depends on your right foot. No point getting a Turbo and driving uncle style. Enjoy your Lion, but ofcourse be safe!
I'm not sure about rain noise,if it bothers you,I suppose insulation may be the answer.
*
Any idea what brake pad our 408T using? Cuz I saw 208 using citreon brake pads..

Anyone changed theirs? Haha.. coz from outside could not see for ours.. for the 208, the citreon logo clearly visible.. thought that ours also should be from PSA..

RM250? that is a great price, IMHO, for number 408. I don't know, Always have the impression that it will be at least fought over by some 408 owners to be. I can be wrong though.
*
Buying registration number only RM200 + RM10 regardless any number, as long as not single or double digit, so if 408 still available without being tendered by others, you need to pay only 210 bucks to get it.. if tender, min 300..

QUOTE(robinyan @ May 4 2013, 04:17 PM)
Pugs brothers,

As some of you might aware that I should be collecting my car today but turn out to be another big dissapointment for me and my finace. It seems that there is some issue with the interchange process which not allowing me to get back my old car plate number.

Without my permission SA went ahead and registered my car with the current running number WYJXXXX. When I asked, SA responded to me 'We need to make the call or else you will not get the RM8K overtrade since the promotion ends tomorrow (May 5th). Me and my fiance was so upset and pissed with the whole situation and we decided to cancel the hire purchase.

It then escalated to the manager level and the manager came over to negotiate, asking us to take the car first with the current car plate registered WYJXXXX and come back again for inspection and proceed with the interchange with choosing the new current running number. I was even more furious after that and decided to cancel the bookings. The manager later on even offer to transfer my old car plate number to a motorbike and give me the motorbike for real. Me and my fiance thinks that he is crazy, we want the number to be on my car not a motorbike. WTF!

Another SA came over and try to solve the issue which apparently he did provided me with a better solution than the manager. He asked me to give them until this coming Monday provided there is no PH to resolve the interchange issue for me to get back the old number without any inspection needed and they will request for extension on the current overtrade promo.

Hopefully this time, everything will go according to plan else I will be the incredible hulk for sure.

- The end -
*
Sorry to hear that.. my case almost similar but my SA willing to help holding even though he kept saying the overtrade discount ends at 28th February, keep forcing me to take the number plate which I don't want, in the end I told him, if can't just cancel off my purchase.. so in the end also waited until I get my number plate which is a week later..they keep telling the promotion ends need to close the deal and etc...

Its ok bro, lets see how it goes next week. Also, for your case did your SA already registered the car to a random running number without asking your permission? or he just keep on asking you to take the number without registering it?.
*
Coz when I book my car I told him I need to get BMB so no matter how I'm going to wait.. besides, I bought the number plate myself at jpj, so I told him if I can't get BMB just cancel off my booking..since the bank still holding large amount of money so if he pissed me I'll just cancel, end of story..haha

Alot of members in FB comment that took very long still havent receive their. Some even applied more than half year or applied few times ady. Think I am the lucky one.
*
The delay was due to change of department handling it.. that day when I was at glenmarie, they were putting all into envelop ready to be posted.. then I asked them mine since March yet to get, so they said now just passed to merchandise department to handle and they are now sending out last year's application.. ask me to wait 2-3 weeks more.. sad.gif

The OEM ones are like 2k so I think the actual cost wouldn't be far from it. Labour cost = 3k?  mad.gif

Maybe the 5.5k unit can make the car fly, turns it into something like james bond car? brows.gif
