I was told its a common prob in 408 by Geotauto, have it changed when I was due for 10k service - FOC since its under warranty otherwise just a knob or fist size item cost you RM 200 plus excluding labor 

My front speakers spoiled in less than 3 years. Replaced with a pair of 6.5" Coaxial Pegasus. Sounds much better now, compared to the ori 5.5" speakers in 6.5" casing.

chzinwithheld before snapped in our 408t?  Already 1year and I m experiencing so many problems, 20k to repair is a lot.

labour is written as RM126 (1.4 x RM90) but waived for the first service.

drove in at 11pm and only finished at 4.30pm.

2 technicians fell sick at the same time.

I was told it cost rm14000 for the replacment of turbo. Of cos its foc for me but I have yet to collect my car.so, stay tuned for updates.

skyjack, I guess bynlw we have to accept the turbo kits and peugeot cars have too many defects namely loss of turbo, loosen screws(screw went missing at the front passenger door), additiomal screws in the boot lid (happened to me), rattling sound, rear brake disc (scratch line), battery (replaced a new one at 10.5 month of ownership), etc.

of cos, the same things/issues also happened on other car makers. I dont have the stastics to provewhich car makers having the most defective parts or problem and vice versa. Nonetheless, peugeot cars are not really in good quality givrm the high priceof the cars offered here in malaysia.

still, I m satisfied with the performance of this engine and the good handling of 408t.
lastly, its the warranty, to comfort myself futher, at least peugeot has changed a battery worth rm550, and a set of rear disc worth (rm500 maybe), and gonna change tubo worth rm14000. My car is worth more than it is priced initially, hahahha. A very lame joke. But it does make me feel better.

cant wait to collect my car tomorrow. Hopefully the technician does not disappoint me.or else, m gonna wait until thursday or friday only can collect my car.

You always can open you rear seat to get to your boot. Everytime there is a WANT , there will be a WAY.

Wear n tear item. Not under warranty. Unless is just few days new car, and u able to prove it is a defect.
I just got it changed aftermarket wiper. 28' + 28'

10k. Only change during service

dont worry on engine oil, SC using fully sync that can last for 10k

Hi there. This is assembly problem. Mines also got rattle noise at the front passenger door panel and rear left door panel. My car only 1 month 
Try talk to SC when servicing
