Went to 5 acc shop just now. None of them carry ONB, only Phyllip. Wonder why so difficult to find ONB. One of the shop mentioned need to order if want, the price will be close to Rm200.

Yup we know that and i agree. But some fellows really ruin the car by putting on really ugly rims just to look different. I saw a 408 on the road last week with really crap cheapo looking rims and spoiler (hope not a LYN member). I mean why bother buying a conti if u wanna give it a Ah Beng look? Im really against ppl who dont appreciate their car and ruin its image and design direction simply to look 'different' from others. Some even start putting all these HID lights where it doesnt belong.

A Conti is a conti and u can really differentiate the design direction compared to Japs/Koreans. Its got this mature yet exclusive look so why ruin that look? Ppl just gotta know the difference between making something look 'better' and making it look 'different'. Being different doesnt always mean better and it usually isnt.

Same with some of the K5 on the road. The rims are already good enough and it enhances the car's overall image but then u have some goons who put on cheapo looking rims and there goes the whole sleek image. 

Sorry. Just ranting out of frustration.

General personal opinion just keep to it yourself. We dont need you to tell us how we wanna spend our money. Comment as you see it fit doesnt work here or you might need some help, lead you to K5 thread?

There must be a reason why thin spokes created and I change to thin spokes. Stop judging by appearance. Ah Beng? cheapo conti? I never bother how other car looks like. Only the driver characteristic should be in concern. You should learn this too.

And dont simply quote other ppl's comment. Not many ppl care what you wrote anyway.

Yes it is your money and u have the right to do with it as u please. But in that same way, it is my thought and as long as its related to the discussion i will post as i see fit. Neither you or anyone else has the right to claim otherwise. You have another choice as well which is to hit the ignore button or cease responding to my posts as what you claimed you would do sometime back which somehow u have a problem keeping to. I wonder why.

What's ugly to you might not be ugly to others. What is "Ah Beng" to you might not be "Ah Beng" to others. You might think that Kate Beckinsale is nothing but a cheap skank, but for me she's like the hottest chick around.

That's like me generalising that the K5 is an Ah Beng car which tries to be premium when it's really not.

Anyway, our current rims for 408t is 17x7.5j +32 offset. Getting a 17x8jj with +25 or +18 offset might be good enough to make the wheel nearly flushed with the fender, but need to check on clearance with the fender itself. Danishfx, whats the size of the rims u ordered from the uk?

Hmm..wouldnt a bigger positive offset make the wheel closer to the inside, can make the wheel hit the brake caliper and suspension?

Hi all, any good tyre dealer in KV to recommend me? one of my tyre was punctured by a big screw nail last nite and confirm beyond repair.       

The peneration made is size of a thumb , thru both inside and out and beyond repair shown by the tyre shop i went to , tried patching last nite but not succesful. He quoted me RM510 for new one. I wanted a second opinion
